Senzatela didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Phillies. He allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while fanning four across five innings.

Senzatela gave up a two-run shot to Rhys Hoskins as part of a four-run third inning, but he settled down afterward and only allowed two baserunners the rest of the way before being lifted. It hasn't been a good start to the season for the 26-year-old right-hander, though, as he has given up four or more runs in three of his first five outings while posting a 5.76 ERA.

Peralta didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over four innings while striking out seven.

The right-hander checked out after throwing 81 pitches (52 strikes) and was in line for the loss until the Brewers' bats got rolling in the fifth inning. Peralta has struck out at least six batters in all five of his starts but has lasted longer than five innings only once, and his inefficiency does put a cap on his wins potential and fantasy value. He'll take a 2.45 ERA and 38:13 K:BB through 22 innings into his next outing Thursday at home against the Dodgers.

Miley (2-2) allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two across six innings to take the loss Saturday against St. Louis.

Miley got off to a shaky start, as he allowed three singles and one earned run in the first inning. However, he rebounded to turn in another strong outing by letting only three more hitters reach base across his next five frames of work. Despite punching out only 16 batters across 22 innings, Miley has maintained a strong 2.45 ERA to this point in the season. He's projected to draw his next start Friday against the Cubs.

Gonsolin (shoulder) began a throwing program at the Dodgers' alternate training site Saturday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Gonsolin attempted to start throwing two weeks ago but was still feeling too much soreness in his shoulder. He's still in the early stages, throwing long toss on flat ground. It will still be a while before he's ready to return to the active roster.

Smyly won't start Saturday against the Diamondbacks as scheduled as the game has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday. Smyly will start the second game, with Bryse Wilson starting the first contest.

Freeland (shoulder) threw 25 pitches in a bullpen session Saturday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Freeland has been sidelined for just over a month due to a shoulder strain, and he threw off a mound for the first time Friday. He threw at about an 85 percent effort level in Saturday's bullpen session and didn't have any issues with his shoulder afterward. While Freeland's recent progress has been encouraging, he still doesn't have a clear timetable to return to action since he'll need to build his arm strength back up.

Syndergaard topped out at 97 mph with his fastball and threw all his pitches during an intrasquad game Saturday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

It looks like the right-hander has all but completed his recovery from Tommy John surgery in March of 2020. As Syndergaard began the season on the 60-day IL, he won't be eligible to join the Mets' rotation until the end of May, giving him plenty of time to get fully stretched out, although the club has previously indicated it's targeting a mid-June return for Thor.

Carrasco (hamstring) through four innings in a scrimmage Saturday and is on track to return sometime in the second week of May, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Carrasco strained his hamstring while doing conditioning work in mid-March. He was given a 6-to-8 week timetable at the time and appears to still be on track. If he can stay healthy once he's back in game action, he'll be a big help to the Mets, as he cruised to a 2.91 ERA and a 29.3 percent strikeout rate last year. The hamstring issue is already his second injury of the season, however, as he'd previously dealt with elbow soreness earlier in camp.

Syndergaard (elbow) will throw one inning in an intrasquad game at the Mets' alternate training site Saturday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Syndergaard faced live hitters earlier in April, and he'll take another step in his recovery Saturday. The right-hander isn't expected to make his season debut until mid-June while he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery, but Syndergaard has been on the right track recently.

Smyly (forearm) has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start against Arizona on Saturday.

Smyly missed just one turn through the rotation due to left forearm inflammation. The southpaw will make his third start of the year Saturday after he posted a 5.73 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in 11 innings across his first two outings of the 2021 campaign.
