Sanchez (shoulder) threw 15 pitches during a bullpen session Monday and will have another one Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Sanchez threw exclusively fastballs in the session, marking his first mound work of spring training. The 24-year-old has started the long process of returning from the arthroscopic shoulder surgery he underwent in October, and he'll likely be ramped up slowly in his throwing program over the coming months. In addition to rehabbing from shoulder surgery, Sanchez has reportedly dropped 46 pounds over the offseason as he prepares to return to game action for the first time since 2020. Sanchez had been a promising prospect prior to undergoing a pair of shoulder procedures the past two years, but his long-term outlook is uncertain.

Urias is tentatively expected to start Tuesday's Cactus League game against Cincinnati, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The Dodgers have yet to put any of their projected 2023 starters on the mound through two spring training contests, but that looks to be changing early in the week with Urias and newcomer Noah Syndergaard both on schedule to throw against the Reds on Tuesday. Urias will spend part of his spring pitching for Team Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, and he's lined up to form a dynamic 1-2 punch with Clayton Kershaw atop the Dodgers' rotation during the coming MLB campaign.

Henry allowed five runs (four earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out two over 1.1 innings in Sunday's spring game against San Diego.

Henry made it through the first inning, working around a two-out double, but was chased in the second frame after five of the first six batters reached base. That included a three-run home run allowed to Trent Grisham. Henry is part of a crew looking to win the fifth starter job.

Dunn is visiting orthopedic surgeon Dr. David Altchek in New York this week to have his pitching shoulder examined, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Dunn was diagnosed with a strained right subscapularis, which is the same rotator cuff muscle that forced him to miss nearly a full calendar year between the summer of 2021 and the summer of 2022. It's unclear when he may be able to throw again.

Webb (back) will start Monday's spring game against the Angels, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The right-hander missed his final start of 2022 due to back stiffness, but it appears he's ready for the start of spring games. Webb will open 2023 as San Francisco's ace after he posted a 2.90 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 163:49 K:BB across a career-high 192.1 innings last year.

Garrett gave up two runs on three hits over two innings in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Mets. He struck out one.

The 25-year-old lefty breezed through the first inning before running into trouble in the second, highlighted by a Pete Alonso homer. Garrett is battling with Edward Cabrera for the fifth starter role with the Marlins to begin the season after having a bit of a breakout in 2022 with a 3.58 ERA, 24.1 percent strikeout rate and 6.4 percent walk rate over 88 big-league innings.

Dodd struck out three batters over two perfect innings in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.

The 24-year-old southpaw isn't yet a big name in prospect circles after being a third-round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft, but Dodd could gain a lot of helium if he keeps pitching like this. He made one start for Triple-A Gwinnett at the end of last season and figures to begin 2023 there, and if the velocity gains he showed last year stick, his potentially plus changeup and strong control could mark him as something more than just a long reliever or swingman in the majors.

Vines gave up one hit and struck out three in a scoreless inning during Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.

It's generally foolhardy to draw too many conclusions from the sixth inning of a late February spring training game, but Vines certainly looked the part of a top pitching prospect Saturday as he leaned on his plus changeup to whiff three of the four batters he faced. The 24-year-old right-hander posted solid numbers in Double-A and Triple-A last season and appears poised to make his big-league debut at some point in 2023.

Butto gave up a run on zero hits and two walks over 1.2 innings in Saturday's split-squad game against the Marlins, striking out four straight batters.

The run crossed the plate after he'd left the game in the second inning. Butto touched 97 mph with his fastball, and while the 24-year-old right-hander isn't viewed as an elite prospect, he did post solid numbers between Double-A and Triple-A in 2022 before making his big-league debut in late August. The Mets have plenty of rotation depth, but if injuries thin the ranks, Butto could be a factor later in the year if he continues his development and can add a reliable curveball to his fastball-changeup arsenal.

Gore worked a scoreless first inning in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals, allowing one hit and striking out one.

The left-hander tossed 13 of 18 pitches for strikes, topping out at 96 mph with his fastball while mixing in his slider and curve and even tossing one changeup to Paul Goldschmidt. Gore hadn't seen action in an MLB game since last July, so the Nationals will bring him along slowly in camp in an effort to keep him healthy, but the 24-year-old is on track to open the regular season in the rotation. He had an impressive start to the 2022 campaign, posting a 1.50 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 57:17 K:BB in 48 innings for the Padres through his first nine big-league appearances before his elbow began acting up, and the Nats believe he can regain something close to that form after picking him up in last year's Juan Soto trade.
