Crochet didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Miami, allowing one run on three hits and one walk with eight strikeouts across seven innings.

Crochet tied his season high in runs allowed in his last start, but he rebounded with a dominant performance against the Marlins. The lone run attributed to Crochet came in the third inning via a solo home run by Eric Wagaman. Crochet has struck out eight or more in three of his last four starts, and Sunday's outing was his first no-decision in eight appearances. In 25 starts this season, Crochet has a 2.43 ERA and a 196:41 K:BB across 159.1 innings. He's on pace to face the Yankees next weekend.

Pepiot (8-10) took the loss Sunday at San Francisco, coughing up four runs on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out eight.

The 28-year-old generated an impressive 17 whiffs out of his 93 total pitches but unraveled late in this outing. After blanking the Giants over five innings, Pepiot conceded four runs on four hits and a walk in the sixth. The Tampa Bay right-hander has struggled since the All-Star break, posting a 5.88 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB across 33.2 frames. Pepiot may be wearing down, as he's pitched a career-high 142.1 total innings, which could cause the Rays to seek respite for him down the stretch. He is currently scheduled to make his next start at home against St. Louis next weekend.

Bateman was promoted to High-A Aberdeen on Sunday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Bateman has posted a 2.45 ERA and 1.77 WHIP with six strikeouts over 7.1 innings in two starts with Single-A Delmarva since joining the Orioles' organization July 31. In total this season, he has compiled a 3.93 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with 81 punchouts over 75.2 innings in 17 starts with Delmarva and Single-A Lake Elsinore.

Warren did not factor into the decision Sunday against St. Louis, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk across 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

While Warren couldn't make it out of the fifth inning Sunday, the right-hander still hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any of his last five starts -- he's posted a 1.93 ERA in that span over 28 frames. Overall, the 26-year-old Warren is 7-5 with a 4.25 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 143:55 K:BB across 26 starts (127 innings) this season. He's currently lined up to face the Red Sox at home his next time out.

Paddack (4-11) took the loss Sunday against the Twins, allowing eight runs on nine hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

Six of the runs charged to Paddack came in the third inning, highlighted by Brooks Lee's two-out grand slam. The 29-year-old Paddack has given up 12 runs over 9.2 innings in two starts against the Twins, his former team, since joining Detroit at the trade deadline -- he allowed just six runs over 15.2 innings in his other three outings. Overall, Paddack sports a 5.10 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP and 96:31 K:BB across 25 starts (132.1 innings) between the Tigers and Twins this season. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Royals.

Javier was removed from his start in Sunday's game against the Orioles after three innings due to an illness, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Javier recorded two strikeouts and allowed one run on three hits and no walks in the 50-pitch start before the Astros elected to pull him from the game early. The right-hander was making his second start of the season for the Astros after completing his recovery from Tommy John surgery. Javier should be ready to pitch when his next turn through the rotation comes up next weekend in Baltimore.

The Orioles transferred Eflin (back) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

Eflin is out for the season after the Orioles confirmed that he would undergo back surgery during the upcoming week, so his move to the 60-day IL is merely procedural. The veteran right-hander is expected to face a 4-to-8 month recovery from surgery, so his availability for the start of the 2026 season is in question. The 31-year-old is set to become a free agent this winter.

Fried (13-5) earned the win Saturday despite allowing seven runs on eight hits and a walk over five-plus innings in a 12-8 victory over St. Louis. He struck out six.

The southpaw's first win in August came in rocky fashion as he surrendered homers to Masyn Winn and Nolan Gorman. Fried is mired in a rough stretch, carrying a 6.80 ERA and 1.59 WHIP across 41 innings over his past eight starts dating back to the beginning of July. Despite his recent skid, Fried has still delivered an impressive debut season in New York, logging 149 innings with a 3.26 ERA and 1.12 WHIP over 25 starts.

Burke (4-10) took the loss against the Royals on Saturday, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out three across 3.2 innings.

Burke wasn't able to make it out of the fourth inning after running his pitch count up to 85 (54 strikes) while generating just five whiffs. It's the second game in a row in which he hasn't made it out of the fourth inning, and the 25-year-old right-hander has failed to make it through the fifth frame in four of his last five starts. Burke now sits at a 4.28 ERA and 1.44 WHIP across 117.2 innings this season, with his 10 losses and 54 walks ranking third and sixth most, respectively, in the American League. He'll look to earn his first win since June 25 in his next start, tentatively slated for next weekend at home against the Twins.

Lorenzen did not factor into Saturday's decision against the White Sox, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out three across four scoreless innings.

Lorenzen was activated from the 15-day IL ahead of Saturday's start after fully recovering from a strained left oblique. Though he kept the White Sox off the board in his first outing since July 6, he ran his pitch count up to 82 (44 strikes), which necessitated his removal after four frames of work. Lorenzen should get a longer leash for his next start, which is slated for next week at home against the Rangers.
