Gonzales (forearm) successfully threw 15 short-distance pitches off a mound Monday and is scheduled to throw again Tuesday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Drayer notes that Gonzales felt strong on the hill Monday and that if all goes well Tuesday, he could be on track to throw a bullpen session Friday. The southpaw was placed on the 10-day injured list April 29 with a mild forearm strain.

Maeda (groin) will throw Tuesday as the Twins try to determine whether or not he'll be able to make his next scheduled start against Cleveland on Friday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Maeda received treatment for a tight groin after his four-inning start against the Athletics on Sunday. The Twins described the issue as minor, but whether or not it's minor enough that he won't have to miss any starts won't become clear until after he throws Tuesday.

Bubic is listed as the Royals' starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Due to off days over the next two Mondays and Sunday, the Royals could have gotten by with a four-man rotation until May 29 in Minnesota, but manager Mike Matheny has instead decided to give Bubic a look as the No. 5 starter. He'll join the rotation as a replacement for Daniel Lynch, who was optioned to Triple-A Omaha after failing to escape the third inning in a May 13 loss to Detroit. Bubic worked behind Lynch in long relief that day, striking out six over five scoreless frames. Bubic tossed 80 pitches in that outing, so he should be relatively stretched out heading into what will be his first start in the big leagues this season.

Wacha (hamstring) is expected to face hitters in live batting practice or in a simulated game at some point during the Rays' three-game series in Baltimore that begins Tuesday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Wacha is ready to move on to the next phase of his rehab program after he checked out fine Sunday during an extended bullpen session. The 29-year-old opened the season as a member of the Tampa Bay rotation, but due to the emergence of young starters Luis Patino and Shane McClanahan, Wacha may have to settle for a long-relief role upon returning from the 10-day injured list.

Lynn (hand) is listed as the White Sox's probable pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

In his most recent outing May 13 against this same Twins squad, Lynn came away with his third win in as many starts, but not before taking a comebacker off his right hand during the game. The White Sox sent him in for precautionary X-rays after the outing that revealed no structural damage, so the 34-year-old looks like he'll be good to go for his upcoming turn through the rotation without any limitations. Lynn has been exceptional throughout his first season in Chicago, going 4-1 while posting a 1.30 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 44:11 K:BB across 34.2 innings.

Cobb (blister) is making progress and could come off the injured list later this week, the Associated Press reports.

Cobb hasn't pitched since May 4, when he allowed two unearned runs across five innings and struck out eight batters against Tampa Bay. The right-hander subsequently went on the 10-day IL with the blister issue, which he believes will require management through the remainder of the season, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Cobb has blown away his previous career trend with a superb 30.4 percent strikeout rate this season, though his 5.48 ERA is far less promising. However, hitters have logged an absurd .431 BABIP against him, so Cobb's 2.64 xFIP provides reason for optimism if he is able to successfully manage the blister.

Bieber (4-3) allowed three earned runs on five hits and four walks while striking out seven across 4.2 innings, taking the loss to the Mariners on Sunday.

Bieber had an uncharacteristic start, taking 103 pitches to get through just 4.2 innings. It was his shortest start of the season. The 26-year-old has only one start this season in which he didn't allow any runs. However, he hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his appearances. He has a 3.17 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, and leads all of baseball in innings pitched (59.2), strikeouts (92) and is second in K/9 with 13.88.

Eovaldi allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six in five innings in Sunday's loss to the Angels. He didn't factor into the decision.

Eovaldi was hit hard in the second inning of Sunday's matchup, but he was still in line for the win when he left the game after the fifth inning. However, Matt Barnes gave up a two-run homer in the ninth inning that forced Eovaldi to settle for a no-decision. Eovaldi has now posted a 4.50 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 50 innings this season. The right-hander tentatively lines up to start on the road against Philadelphia on Saturday.

Quintana allowed three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out seven in 4.1 innings in Sunday's win over the Red Sox. He didn't factor into the decision.

Quintana has only lasted five innings in one of his first seven starts of the season, and he was forced to settle for a second straight no-decision Sunday. He only allowed one run in the first four innings Sunday but gave up four runs in the bottom of the fifth. The southpaw has posted an 8.53 ERA and 1.97 WHIP in 25.1 innings across his first seven starts of the season.

Ray (2-1) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out nine in 5.2 innings to earn the win against the Phillies on Sunday.

Ray has now struck out at least nine batters in each of his last three starts. He tossed four scoreless frames to begin Sunday's game but allowed four runs across the fifth and sixth innings prior to his removal. The left-hander has now posted a 3.79 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 40.1 innings across seven starts this season. Ray tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Rays on Saturday.
