Kluber was removed from Tuesday's start against the Blue Jays after three innings for undisclosed reasons, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

The 35-year-old surrendered two runs on two hits and three walks while recording five strikeouts over three innings, and he didn't appear to be dealing with any obvious injury. Kluber threw 58 pitches before leaving the contest, and it's unclear if his next turn through the rotation will be affected by the situation.

Springs (4-1) secured the victory in an extra-innings win over the Blue Jays on Monday, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits while recording three strikeouts over two innings.

Springs surrendered a game-tying two-run home run to Marcus Semien in the bottom of the 10th, but he still walked away with his fourth win thanks to the Rays racking up seven runs in the top of the 11th. Springs has allowed at least one earned run in three of his past four trips to the mound, but his ratios are still solid (3.32 ERA, 1.06 WHIP).

Gibson was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right groin strain.

The righty gave no indication that he was hurt in his six-inning, one-run outing Friday against the Astros, so it's not entirely clear whether he suffered the injury during the game. Gibson has logged a ton of innings this season, going at least six innings in all but one of his 10 starts. Pitchers Demarcus Evans and Wes Benjamin were recalled Tuesday to fill the spots of Gibson and Hunter Wood (elbow), who also went to the injured list.

Maeda (groin) may end up spending more than the minimum 10 days on the injured list as the Twins look to ensure he's 100 percent healthy before activating him, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Minnesota moved Maeda to the IL on Sunday after he was diagnosed with a right adductor strain, an injury related to the groin tightness he had been managing heading into both of his most recent two starts. Though Maeda has shown the ability to pitch through discomfort in the past, the Twins don't want to bring him back too soon and risk the adductor strain becoming something that nags the right-hander throughout the season. Randy Dobnak is expected to stick in the rotation as Minnesota's fifth starter until Maeda is deemed fit to return.

Kopech blanked the Cardinals over two innings of relief in a 5-1 win Monday. He struck out three and gave up two hits with no walks in the 28-pitch outing.

Kopech protected Chicago's four-run lead during the final two frames after starter Lance Lynn exited following seven innings of one-run ball. After the scoreless appearance, Kopech's ERA now sits at 1.78 over 30.1 innings, with the right-hander having piled up 45 strikeouts across his 13 outings. The White Sox have no immediate plans to move Kopech into the rotation, but his sterling ratios out of the bullpen are enough to make him worthy of rostering in just about any fantasy league.

Gonzales (forearm) is slated to throw a 45-to-50-pitch simulated game this week, the Associated Press reports.

Gonzales completed multiple throwing sessions last week without setbacks, setting up this next step in his recovery process. If the left-hander is able to get through the sim game in similarly successful fashion, he could be deemed ready for activation without the need for a rehab assignment.

Montas (5-4) was tagged with the loss Monday against the Mariners after allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while fanning 11 across six innings.

Though he took his second straight loss, the 11 strikeouts represented a season high. The long ball has been an issue for the right-hander, who has now given up a career-high 11 homers in just 53 innings (1.9 HR/9). Montas will carry a 4.92 ERA into his next start, scheduled for Saturday at home against the Angels.

Lynn (5-1) was credited with the win Monday after allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out four over seven innings against the Cardinals.

Lynn was locked in a pitchers' duel with St. Louis lefty Kwang Hyun Kim before earning a victory over the team that drafted him in the first round in 2008. He carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning, when the Cards managed to push a run across, but Chicago's offense eventually showed up, giving Lynn a win in his fourth straight decision. Lynn's next turn in the rotation comes Saturday at home against the Orioles.

Wells allowed a run on three hits and a walk and recorded his only out via strikeout in Monday's 8-3 loss to Minnesota.

Wells didn't make the mess -- Tanner Scott and Cesar Valdez each struggled prior to the right-hander's entry into the game. Nonetheless, Wells allowed an inherited runner to score and then had to work out of a bases-loaded jam after allowing another run that was charged to him. The 26-year-old remains a candidate for low-leverage work with a 5.48 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 21.1 innings this year. Prior to Monday, he had logged 10 straight outings of more than one inning.

Kikuchi left Monday's game against the Athletics due to cramping in his lower back, Corey Brock of The Athletic reports. Before departing, Kikuchi was in line for the win after allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings.

Manager Scott Servais stated after the game that Kikuchi should be fine going forward, but expect the club to keep a close eye on the lefty leading up to his next scheduled start, which tentatively lines up for Saturday or Sunday against Texas.
