Eovaldi (6-2) picked up the win in Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Marlins, allowing four hits and a walk over 5.1 scoreless innings while striking out seven.

It wasn't the most efficient outing, as Eovaldi fired 101 pitches (71 strikes) and still fell short of a quality start, but the right-hander held the Miami offense firmly in check while he was on the mound. Eovaldi will take a 4.01 ERA and 58:14 K:BB through 60.2 innings into his next outing.

Montas (5-5) took the loss Saturday as the A's were downed 4-0 by the Angels, giving up four unearned runs on six hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

With the game still scoreless in the top of the fifth inning and runners on the corners, David Fletcher hit a grounder to Matt Olson, who threw home attempting to cut down the runner from third. Aramis Garcia couldn't handle the toss and was charged with an error, ending Montas' shutout bid, and the rest of the Angels' runs came later that inning with two outs. The right-hander still saw his ERA fall to 4.45, and he'll take a 63:17 K:BB through 58.2 innings into his next outing.

Cobb (3-2) picked up the win Saturday, allowing three hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings in a 4-0 victory over the A's. He struck out eight.

The right-hander only fired 58 of 101 pitches for strikes, but Cobb mostly avoided ball fours and got plenty of strike threes in his longest outing, and second quality start, of the season. He's won both his starts since returning to the rotation from the IL, and Cobb will carry a 3.78 ERA and 43:12 K:BB through 33.1 innings into his next turn.

Keuchel (4-1) earned the win in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles after giving up four runs on eight hits and a walk while fanning two across five innings.

Keuchel didn't have his best stuff in the opener of the twin bill, but he pitched well enough to outduel Matt Harvey en route to his fourth win of the campaign. The veteran has given up three or more runs in three of his five starts this month, and he's next scheduled to take the mound at home against the Tigers next week.

Luzardo (hand) will be activated off the injured list Sunday, but he will pitch out of the bullpen initially, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Luzardo has missed nearly a month with a broken finger. He'll almost certainly return to the rotation before too long, but the Athletics will elect for him to finish his rehab process in the big-league bullpen rather than in the minors. He threw just 25 pitches in his lone rehab outing Thursday, so he's a long way away from being built back up to a starter's workload.

Maeda (groin) may miss more time than originally expected, as his bullpen session Friday indicated that he was progressing slower than the Twins hoped, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Reports from earlier in the week indicated that Maeda would likely miss more than the minimum 10 days with his groin strain. It now appears as though he's slightly behind that schedule as well. When exactly the Twins expect him back in the rotation remains unclear.

Stripling won't start Saturday in Cleveland as previously scheduled, as the game has been postponed due to inclement weather, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

The game will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader Sunday. Stripling will likely start one of the two games, though the Blue Jays have yet to lay out their plans.

Teheran (shoulder) hasn't yet resumed throwing, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Teheran has been on the 60-day injured list with a shoulder strain since April 11, and manager A.J. Hinch said Saturday that the right-hander is still "pretty far away" from returning. Teheran is eligible to return from the injured list in early June, but it appears as though he'll miss significantly more time. A better idea of his return timetable could come into focus once he's able to resume throwing.

Odorizzi (forearm) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Saturday's start against the Padres, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Odorizzi missed just over a month due to a right forearm strain but recently made two rehab appearances with Triple-A Sugar Land, and he was up to 77 pitches in his most recent rehab start. The right-hander struggled prior to landing on the injured list and posted a 10.13 ERA and 1.62 WHIP in eight innings across three starts. His spot in the rotation should be secure while Lance McCullers (shoulder) is on the 10-day injured list, but he'll likely have to show better results if he hopes to remain in the rotation after McCullers returns. Right-hander Enoli Paredes was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move.

Urena was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right forearm strain Saturday, retroactive to May 27.

The move is backdated to Thursday, so he'll be eligible to return as early as June 6. Hinch said Saturday that he's confident that Urena will be able to make his next start, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports. The Tigers haven't announced who will start in his place early next week, but Michael Fulmer could be a candidate for a spot start. Infielder Zack Short was recalled from Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding move.
