Manoah allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out five across six innings in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Red Sox. He didn't factor into the decision.

Manoah made a mistake in the bottom of the third inning, surrendering an RBI double to left field, but he held Boston in check the rest of his start. He's now looked strong in back-to-back outings, surrendering just two earned runs across 11 total frames while punching out nine. Manoah's next outing tentatively lines up for Saturday in Baltimore.

Eovaldi allowed three hits and one walk while striking out four across 6.2 innings Monday against the Blue Jays. He didn't factor into the decision.

Eovaldi was dominant in this one and would have come away with the victory had the Red Sox not surrendered a 1-0 lead in the top of the ninth. Boston was ultimately able to win the contest in the bottom half of the frame, however. Eovaldi was coming off a tough showing his last time out, as he was tagged for five runs on 11 hits and three walks against Houston, but he's been rock solid of late despite that outlier, giving up two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts.

Glasnow left Monday's start against Chicago due to right elbow inflammation, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

This is concerning news for Tampa Bay's top hurler, though it remains unclear if he'll require a trip to the injured list. The team should know more about a timetable for his return after further evaluation.

Glasnow was removed from Monday's game against the White Sox after just 53 pitches, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.

The team has yet to disclose an injury, but Glasnow was spotted flexing and stretching out his right arm before being removed. It's also concerning that he was shut down for the night after just four innings of work. The Rays likely won't offer up an explanation until after the contest.

Boyd left Monday's start against Kansas City due to discomfort in his arm, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Boyd had to be removed in the bottom of the third inning after recording the first out. He made it through 2.1 scoreless frames despite surrendering five hits prior to his exit. The severity of Boyd's injury is not yet known, but he's currently undergoing further evaluation, per Jason Beck of MLB.com.

Maeda (arm) was activated from the 10-day injured list and will start Monday against the Mariners, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The 33-year-old landed on the shelf with a right adductor strain May 23 and dealt with some right arm soreness while rehabbing, but he'll officially rejoin the starting rotation Monday. Maeda has struggled through nine starts with a 5.27 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 80:10 K:BB over 42.2 innings this season, and he'll look to rebound now that he's healthy.

Baz was promoted to Triple-A Durham on Monday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Baz began the season with Double-A Montgomery and was dominant with a 2.48 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 49:2 K:BB in 32.2 innings across seven starts. The right-hander also impressed during spring training and incorporated a changeup into his arsenal. He's slated to make his Triple-A debut Wednesday.

The Blue Jays announced Monday that Matz's positive COVID-19 test result has been confirmed, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Matz was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Sunday due to an inconclusive test, but subsequent follow-up tests returned positive. While the southpaw is currently asymptomatic, he'll need to self-isolate for 10 days from his first positive test result. The Blue Jays have yet to announce which pitcher might take Matz's place in the rotation.

Bieber was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder strain Monday.

Manager Terry Francona said that Bieber will be shut down from throwing for two weeks and re-evaluated after his rest. As a result, the right-hander will miss more than the minimum of 10 days, and a better timetable for his return could be established once he's able to resume throwing. Kyle Nelson was recalled from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move, but Cleveland hasn't yet announced who will take Bieber's place in the starting rotation.

Kremer has been recalled by the Orioles and will start Monday's game against Cleveland, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.

Kremer was sent to Triple-A Norfolk on May 26 after he allowed five earned runs on six hits and three walks across four innings in his last start. The right-hander has been charged with five losses in his first nine major-league starts this year, but he'll take the mound in Monday's series opener. In two starts with the minor-league club, Kremer allowed five runs (four earned) on three hits and five walks while striking out 14 in 8.2 innings.
