Bieber was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder strain Monday.

Manager Terry Francona said that Bieber will be shut down from throwing for two weeks and re-evaluated after his rest. As a result, the right-hander will miss more than the minimum of 10 days, and a better timetable for his return could be established once he's able to resume throwing. Kyle Nelson was recalled from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move, but Cleveland hasn't yet announced who will take Bieber's place in the starting rotation.

Kremer has been recalled by the Orioles and will start Monday's game against Cleveland, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.

Kremer was sent to Triple-A Norfolk on May 26 after he allowed five earned runs on six hits and three walks across four innings in his last start. The right-hander has been charged with five losses in his first nine major-league starts this year, but he'll take the mound in Monday's series opener. In two starts with the minor-league club, Kremer allowed five runs (four earned) on three hits and five walks while striking out 14 in 8.2 innings.

Severino (elbow) is scheduled to meet with Yankees team doctors Monday to receive further evaluation for the right groin injury he picked up in his rehab start Saturday at High-A Hudson Valley, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

In his second minor-league outing in his rehab program for Tommy John surgery, Severino retired five hitters before bowing out in the second inning with what appeared to be a painful-looking groin injury. Severino was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Sunday, but the Yankees likely won't reveal the results of those tests until after he's examined by team doctors. More information regarding the extent of his groin injury along with a timeline for him to resume his rehab assignment should come soon, but even if Severino's setback is deemed minor, he still may be hard-pressed to make it back from the 60-day injured list before the end of July.

Rodon (6-2) allowed one run on one hit and two walks while striking out nine over seven innings to pick up the win over Detroit on Sunday.

Rodon had his nasty stuff and took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before the Tigers scuffed him for a run. The win snapped a five-start streak in which the left-hander was 0-2 with three no-decisions despite a 3.45 ERA during that stretch. Rodon will carry a tidy 1.89 ERA into his next start, expected to be Friday at Houston.

Sandoval (1-2) got the win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday after allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings.

Sandoval put together his second straight quality start and actually picked up the win as opposed to his last time out. He allowed the Diamondbacks to get on the board in the fourth on an RBI single by Pavin Smith and then was eventually pulled after walking two batters to begin the seventh, one of which would come around to score for his second earned run of the day. His changeup was super effective, as he generated 10 of his 13 whiffs with the offspeed pitch. The 24-year-old now owns a 3.51 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 31:13 K:BB over 33.1 innings and has a another favorable matchup coming up this week against the Tigers.

Dunning (2-5) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five across four innings, taking the loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

Dunning surrendered a solo home run to Mookie Betts in the third frame as a part of a three-run inning. He is winless in his last six starts. The 26-year-old has been mediocre and he's received minimal run support from a bad offense. He has a 4.57 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP with 66 strikeouts in 61 innings.

Gilbert (2-2) earned the win Sunday against Cleveland after tossing 6.2 innings of one-run ball, allowing four hits and a walk while fanning six.

Gilbert began his MLB career with two straight losses but has bounced back since then, and he's given up two or fewer earned runs in each of his last four appearances, going 2-0 with a 2.55 ERA in that span. The right-hander will try to continue his excellent run of form in his upcoming start, which is tentatively scheduled for next weekend at home against the Rays.

Bieber (7-4) was tagged with the loss Sunday against the Mariners after allowing five runs on 10 hits and two walks while fanning eight across 5.2 innings.

Bieber struck out eight, but he wasn't entirely effective on the mound and gave up season-worst marks in both hits and runs. The right-hander ended a streak of three straight wins, though he still owns a strong 3.28 ERA. He's lined up to make his next start on the road against the Pirates at some point next week.

Valdez (3-0) allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Twins.

Valdez kept Minnesota's bats quiet for most of the contest with the exception of Ryan Jeffers' solo homer in the fifth. The 27-year-old lefty has given up exactly one earned run in each of his four starts this season, going 3-0 with a 24:7 K:BB and a 1.42 ERA. He'll look to keep the winning streak alive against the White Sox at home next weekend.

Perez (4-4) allowed five runs on six hits and one walk while failing to record a strikeout in 1.1 innings to take the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Toronto's bats were hot throughout Sunday's matchup, and Perez struggled early in the contest by giving up home runs in each of the first two innings. The southpaw has now given up 11 runs in 3.1 innings across his last two starts, and he's been charged with losses in each of those appearances. He'll attempt to bounce back in his next start and tentatively lines up to take the mound on the road against Kansas City on Saturday.
