Manoah allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out three in five innings during Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Guardians. He didn't factor into the decision.

Sunday's outing marked the first time this season that Manoah didn't record a quality start in 2022, but he was still relatively effective while tossing 95 pitches against Cleveland. The right-hander picked up four consecutive wins to begin the year but has been forced to settle for no-decisions in his last two outings. However, Manoah still has a strong 1.75 ERA and 0.89 WHIP in 36 innings. He tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Tampa Bay next Sunday.

Lyles allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out five in 7.1 innings during Sunday's loss in the first game of a doubleheader against the Royals. He didn't factor into the decision.

Lyles had to wait two extra days to make his start after the Orioles' last two games were postponed, but he had his longest start of the season in Sunday's matinee. The right-hander allowed just one extra-base hit, but the Royals were able to generate some runs to force Lyles to settle for the no-decision. He's lasted at least 4.2 innings in every start this year and tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Detroit on Friday.

Greinke allowed two runs on 10 hits and no walks while striking out three in 5.2 innings during the win over the Orioles in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader. He didn't factor into the decision.

Greinke was unable to record a third consecutive quality start Sunday, but he was still relatively effective at limiting runs considering he gave up 10 hits. The right-hander's control wasn't a major issue, as he threw 64 of his 93 pitches for strikes. Greinke hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his starts this year, and he's posted a 2.67 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 33.2 innings. He projects to make his next start on the road against Colorado on Saturday.

Lynch (2-2) took the loss in a 4-2 defeat in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

Baltimore jumped on Lynch early, as the lefty permitted the first four Orioles to reach base with three of them scoring. He was able to limit the damage over the next three innings despite traffic on the bases, but Kansas City wasn't able to recover from the early deficit. Lynch has now surrendered three runs in consecutive outings after posting two scoreless turns and will carry a 4.01 ERA into a projected start in Colorado next weekend.

Kirby struck out seven and allowed four hits in six scoreless innings in a 2-1 win Sunday over Tampa Bay. He did not factor into the decision.

Kirby was excellent in his major-league debut, allowing just four baserunners and retiring 10 straight at one point. The 23-year-old was efficient, facing just three batters over the minimum and needing 81 pitches to throw six innings. The righty was promoted from Double-A Arkansas and appears to be taking over the fifth spot in the Mariners' rotation with the demotion of Matt Brash. Across 115.1 minor-league innings since 2019, he's amassed a 2.34 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with a 137:20 K:BB ratio.

Ober (groin) threw an 18-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Ober has been on the injured list since the end of April due to a right groin strain, but he's been cleared to resume mound work. The right-hander will presumably need to increase his pitch count before returning to game action, so it's not yet clear when he'll rejoin the Twins' rotation.

Sandoval allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks in 5.2 innings in a 5-4 win Sunday over Washington. He struck out five and did not factor into the decision.

Sandoval pitched fairly well through the first five innings, allowing just one run and pitching around trouble. In the sixth, he allowed three singles and a sacrifice fly before being removed. The lefty has a 1.28 WHIP on the season, identical to his career rate. However, his 2.03 ERA is about half of his career 4.08 ERA, suggesting he may be the beneficiary of some good luck in the first month of the season.

Montgomery didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers in Game 2 of a doubleheader, allowing two runs on four hits with five strikeouts in six innings.

Montgomery was rolling early and kept Texas off the board through the first five innings, but he surrendered an Eli White solo home run in the sixth. He permitted a leadoff double in the seventh and was subsequently pulled, with that runner and two others scoring to put the game at its 4-2 final. The 29-year-old has now gone three straight starts without issuing a free pass and fired an efficient 54 of 71 pitches for strikes Sunday while inducing an impressive 16 swinging strikes. He'll go for his first win next weekend against the White Sox.

Cole allowed a run on five hits and a walk while striking out 10 in 6.1 innings during the win over the Rangers in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader. He didn't factor into the decision.

Although Cole had his scheduled start pushed back two days due to inclement weather, he didn't show much rust during Sunday's matinee. The right-hander posted a 6.35 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in 11.1 innings over his first three starts of the season, but he's lasted at least six innings in each of his last three outings while allowing just one run during that time. Cole projects to make his next start on the road against the White Sox on Friday.

Ryu (forearm) may be ready to return from the 10-day injured list to start Saturday at Tampa Bay, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Though he's been on the shelf since April 17 with left forearm inflammation, Ryu looks like he could be cleared to come off the IL after just one rehab start in the minors. He reported to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday and covered four innings (74 pitches) in his start, striking out six while giving up two runs on five hits and no walks. The Blue Jays will likely see how he fares during a bullpen session Monday or Tuesday before deciding if his next start will be at the big-league level or at Triple-A.
