Severino struck out five in seven shutout innings while allowing eight hits and hitting two batters in a 5-0 loss Sunday against the White Sox. He did not factor into the decision.

Despite allowing 10 baserunners, Severino held the White Sox scoreless by getting out of a number of jams, including loading the bases with no outs in the fifth. It was his longest outing since 2018 and the fourth consecutive start where he's thrown more than 90 pitches. In May, he's allowed three earned runs or fewer in each start and has compiled a 2.78 ERA with a 24:5 K:BB in 22.2 innings. He'll likely make one more start before the end of the month, this weekend in Tampa Bay.

Kopech (1-1) earned the win, striking out six in seven scoreless innings while giving up two walks and a hit in a 5-0 victory Sunday against the Yankees.

Kopech retired the first 17 batters he faced before allowing his lone hit, a double to Rob Brantly. He pitched around two walks in the bottom of the seventh and the White Sox scored five times in the top of the eighth to put Kopech in line for the win. It was the longest, and arguably best, start of his major-league career. The 26-year-old has been incredibly stingy and batters are hitting just .122 with no home runs against him through 42 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend against the Cubs.

Bieber (1-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out 10 and taking a loss against Detroit.

Bieber gave up a run in each of the first two innings, including on an RBI double by Miguel Cabrera in the opening frame. He then allowed a third and final run in the fifth on an error by Josh Naylor. Sunday was Bieber's first double-digit strikeout performance since May 27 of last season. The 26-year-old is now sporting a 3.55 ERA and a 46:14 K:BB through 45.2 innings. He's projected for a rematch in Detroit next weekend.

Kikuchi allowed two runs on two hits and three walks over 4.1 innings in Sunday's loss to the Reds. He struck out seven and did not factor in the decision.

Kikuchi coughed up a ground-rule double to Aristides Aquino in the first inning but managed to retire 10 straight batters shortly thereafter. He needed 86 pitches (49 strikes) to get through 4.1 frames, his shortest start since April 29. The 30-year-old southpaw is now sporting a 3.47 ERA and a 40:22 K:BB through eight starts. Kikuchi is projected to face the Angels on the road next weekend.

Kluber allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two in three innings during Sunday's loss to the Orioles. He didn't factor into the decision.

Although Kluber held Baltimore to just two runs early in Sunday's matchup, he was pulled after throwing 73 pitches over three innings. The right-hander has recorded quality starts in three of his last five outings, but he's also been pulled after three innings in two of his last three starts. Over his first eight appearances in 2022, the 36-year-old has posted a 4.42 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 38.2 innings. Kluber tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Yankees on Saturday.

Eovaldi allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out 11 in 6.2 innings during Sunday's win over the Mariners. He didn't factor into the decision.

Although Eovaldi gave up a two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning Sunday, he logged a season-high 11 strikeouts and was in line for the win when he exited the matchup. However, he was forced to settle for the no-decision since the Mariners tied the game in the top of the ninth inning. Although Eovaldi was unable to pick up the win Sunday, it was encouraging to see him bounce back after he gave up nine runs (six earned) in 1.2 innings during his last start. The right-hander projects to make his next start at home against the Orioles on Saturday as part of a doubleheader.

Gilbert allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four in seven innings during Sunday's loss to the Red Sox. He didn't factor into the decision.

Gilbert posted his second consecutive quality start while throwing 70 of his 100 pitches for strikes during Sunday's outing. However, the 25-year-old didn't get much run support from the Mariners and was forced to settle for a no-decision. After accumulating four straight wins between April and early May, the right-hander has failed to pick up a win in his last four starts. Gilbert tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Astros on Saturday.

Ober allowed one run on three hits and a walk over five innings in Sunday's win over the Royals. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.

Ober made his first start since April 28 after a stint on the injured list, and he picked up right where he left off before the injury. Outside of the third inning when Kansas City plated a run, he allowed just one baserunner in the 78-pitch outing. Since yielding four runs in his first start of 2022, the 26-year-old has given up five runs (three earned) over his last 19.2 frames. Ober will carry a 2.55 ERA into his projected rematch against the Royals at home next week.

Singer allowed four hits and three walks over seven shutout innings in Sunday's loss to the Twins. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.

Singer faced a couple of threats Sunday, including in the sixth inning when he loaded the bases with just one out, but he managed to keep the Twins off the board. He's fired 14 scoreless frames in two starts this month and has a 16.2-inning shutout streak dating back to April. With the way he's pitching of late, the 25-year-old righty should continue seeing regular action at the MLB level. Singer is currently projected to get a rematch in Minnesota next week.

Faedo (1-1) allowed two runs on six hits across 5.1 innings to earn the win Sunday against the Guardians. He walked two and struck out two.

Faedo had his Saturday start postponed due to inclement weather, so he had to wait an extra day before recording his first MLB win in his fourth career start. The righty has looked good in the early going, as he now has a 3.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 21 innings. He's not missing a ton of bats, however, with just 14 strikeouts. That gives Faedo a smaller margin of error, but he'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start Friday against the same Cleveland squad.
