Stripling retired the lone batter he faced on three pitches en route to notching his first save of the season in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

With regular closer Jordan Romano allowing a run to score and loading the bases before exiting with two outs, the Blue Jays turned to Stripling to put out the fire. The veteran right-hander was able to get the job done, as he coaxed a groundball from Andrew Velazquez to seal the Jays' one-run win and claim his fourth career save. The one-out cameo marked Stripling's first high-leverage appearance in the bullpen since he exited the rotation earlier this month following Hyun Jin Ryu's return from the injured list.

Kremer (oblique) struck out seven and gave up one hit and one walk over four scoreless innings Sunday in his rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk.

Making the third minor-league start of his rehab assignment, Kremer built up to 60 pitches (36 strikes) and breezed through the outing. Between stops at Norfolk and Double-A Bowie during the assignment, Kremer has struck out 18 and issued only two walks over nine innings. He could be available to return from the 10-day injured list to make his next start in the big leagues during the Orioles' home series with the Guardians next weekend.

Cease allowed an unearned run on two hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings in a 5-4 win Sunday against the Cubs. He did not factor into the decision.

Cease was effectively wild Sunday, throwing only 63 of 108 pitches for strikes. The lone run against him came when Jake Burger misplayed a difficult ground ball with two outs in the seventh. May was a bit of a roller-coaster ride for the 26-year-old, as he allowed one or fewer runs in four starts and six or more in the other two. For the month, he amassed a 3.98 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with a 48:13 K:BB in 31.2 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend in Tampa Bay.

Greinke is being evaluated for a forearm/flexor injury following Sunday's start against the Twins, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Greinke struggled during Sunday's outing, as he allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three in four innings to take the loss. The right-hander said after the game that he felt "sore and tight" and also said that his stuff hasn't felt as sharp lately. Greinke will be examined by trainers to determine the severity of his injury, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to make his next start. If he's cleared to pitch, he tentatively lines up to start at home against the Astros on Saturday.

Greinke (0-4) took the loss, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three in four innings of a 7-3 defeat Sunday in Minnesota.

Greinke was tagged for three homers Sunday, a three-run shot by Gio Urshela in the third and back-to-back solo shots by Nick Gordon and Trevor Larnach to begin the fourth. The veteran had allowed only two home runs in his first eight starts spanning 44 innings, but he has allowed five homers over his last 7.2 innings. He's struggled mightily of late, allowing 21 runs (19 earned) in 18 innings and raising his ERA from 2.67 to 5.05 over his last four starts. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, likely next weekend against Houston.

Gray was diagnosed with right pectoral soreness after leaving Sunday's start against Kansas City, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

The veteran right-hander fired six scoreless innings before suffering the injury during the seventh inning, and the one runner he left on base was allowed to score by the bullpen. Gray remains in line to pick up his third straight win, but his health is obviously the more pressing concern. The severity of the injury remains unclear, leaving Gray's availability in question going forward. He's expected to undergo an MRI later Sunday or Monday, according to the Associated Press.

Gray was removed from Sunday's start against the Royals with an apparent arm injury, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Gray limited Kansas City to one single through six scoreless frames but gave up a leadoff single during the seventh and exited during the middle of the following at-bat. The 32-year-old appeared to be stretching out his right arm/shoulder before leaving the field with the training staff. It's unclear whether he'll be available for his next turn through the rotation.

McClanahan (5-2) earned the win, striking out seven batters in six innings while allowing a run on seven hits in a 4-2 win Sunday against the Yankees.

McClanahan navigated around trouble throughout the game but managed to limit the damage to a solo shot by Gleyber Torres. Three times the first two batters of an inning reached safely, but the southpaw was able to get timely strikeouts and induce groundballs to limit the scoring of the potent Yankees' offense. For the month of May, McClanahan was lights out with a 1.15 ERA and a 39:5 K:BB in 31.1 innings, never allowing more than two runs in a start. He'll likely begin June with a start next weekend against the White Sox.

Severino (3-1) took the loss, allowing four runs on two hits and two walks while striking out eight in 6.1 innings of a 4-2 loss Sunday in Tampa Bay.

Through six innings, Severino allowed only two Rays to reach base, both on solo homers. In the seventh, the righty walked the first two batters before striking out Manuel Margot and being replaced. Both runners would come around to score as reliever Ron Marinaccio struggled with command. The 103 pitches by Severino were a season high and it was the third consecutive start where he pitched at least six innings. Through two months, the 28-year-old is putting up numbers very similar to his All-Star campaigns of 2017 and 2018. His next start will likely be next weekend against Detroit.

Junk was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Junk was recalled from Salt Lake on Saturday and delivered a scoreless frame, but he'll quickly head back to the minors. Jose Quijada (oblique) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.
