Bello (forearm) allowed four hits and one run while striking out four and walking none over six innings for Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday.

Bello made his second rehab start and upped his pitch count to 80 (51 strikes) while hitting 97 mph. This may have been his final rehab outing, and the right-hander could rejoin the Red Sox in time for a start against the Angels on Sunday or Monday, which is the team's traditional Patriots Day game that starts at 11:10 am.

McClanahan (3-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 7-2 victory over Boston, allowing one run on two hits and four walks over five-plus innings. He struck out nine.

The southpaw blanked the BoSox for five innings, but after McClanahan led off the sixth with a walk to Rafael Devers and a single by Justin Turner, he got the hook and eventually had to watch Devers come around to score. McClanahan generated a massive 23 swinging strikes on 95 pitches in another dominant performance, and he'll take a 1.59 ERA and 21:9 K:BB through 17 innings into his next outing, likely to come in Toronto this weekend.

Whitlock (0-1) took the loss Tuesday as Boston was steamrolled 7-2 by Tampa Bay, coughing up five runs on eight hits -- including three home runs -- over five innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.

Making his season debut after completing his recovery from hip surgery last September, Whitlock ran into the buzzsaw known as the undefeated Rays. The 26-year-old righty tossed 62 of 85 pitches for strikes and showed good control, but his command may not be quite there yet as Isaac Paredes, Yandy Diaz and Brandon Lowe all took him deep. Whitlock will look to rebound in his next outing, likely to come this weekend at home against the Angels.

Ragans (2-0) retired both of the batters faced in the top of the 10th inning to earn the win over Kansas City on Tuesday.

Ragans entered with one out and two on in the top of the 10th inning and gave up a flyball that plated a run charged to Jose Leclerc before getting the final out. When the Rangers scored four in the bottom half, it made Ragans a winner for the second time in 2023. The young left-hander has not allowed a run in five relief outings.

Lyles did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Rangers, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out four.

The veteran right-hander appeared headed for his third straight loss to open the campaign as Kansas City trailed 4-2 after seven innings, but the offense rallied over the final frames to force a 10th inning. Lyles has a 5.19 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB across 17.1 innings through his first three starts of the season.

DeGrom struck out nine and allowed two runs on seven hits and no walks across seven innings during Tuesday's extra-inning win over the Royals. He did not factor in the decision.

The veteran right-hander surrendered single tallies in the third and fourth innings, but he gave up just three singles across his other five frames. After an ugly debut for the Rangers during which he allowed five runs, deGrom has given up just three earned runs with a 20:2 K:BB in 13 innings over his last two starts.

Lopez did not factor into the decision on Tuesday, allowing two runs on three hits with one walk in 7.2 innings against the White Sox. He struck out 10.

Lopez rebounded from a shaky start after allowing two runs in a 31-pitch first inning. However, the 27-year-old held the White Sox scoreless for the rest of his outing and retired the final 23 batters he faced before exiting in the eighth. The right-hander has impressed in his first three starts since joining the Twins, posting an outstanding 1.35 ERA and 26:5 K:BB over 20 innings pitched. His next start is tentatively set for this weekend against the Yankees.

Muller did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks over four innings against the Orioles. He struck out three.

The left-hander avoided a loss because Oakland offered a good amount of run support, but it was not a strong outing for the rookie southpaw. A mediocre effort turned into a poor one when he gave up a three-run homer to Ryan Mountcastle in the fifth that brought Baltimore within a run. Over three starts, Muller has registered a 5.52 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 11:7 K:BB across 14.2 innings.

Rodriguez did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing five runs on six hits and four walks over 4.1 innings in a 12-8 victory for the Orioles over the Athletics. He struck out six.

Rodriguez had some good moments in his first-ever start in front of a home crowd in Baltimore, but they were too often followed by moments of frustration. The 23-year-old didn't give up a ton of hard contact, but he did struggle to consistently locate his pitches for the second consecutive outing. Despite the difficulties, Orioles manager Brandon Hyde confirmed Rodriguez will remain a member of the Baltimore rotation. His next start is scheduled against the White Sox on Sunday.

Lynn did not factor into the decision on Tuesday, allowing three runs on seven hits over six innings against the Twins. He struck out 10.

The 35-year-old righty rebounded from giving up early home runs to Byron Buxton and Michael Taylor to finish with 10 strikeouts before being relieved in the seventh inning. Despite the struggles of the White Sox rotation, Lynn's performance offers reason for optimism. He has a 7.31 ERA and 21:7 K:BB over 16 innings and is tentatively scheduled to return to the mound this weekend against the Phillies.
