Rucinski (hamstring), who logged his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, came away feeling good from his 45-pitch outing but will remain with the Aviators to build up his pitch count, the Associated Press reports.

The veteran right-hander worked two innings against Salt Lake, allowing two earned runs on six hits while recording two strikeouts. Rucinski is still expected to require at least one more rehab outing to prepare for his season debut, and Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports the goal remains for Rucinski to be pitching at the big-league level before the end of April.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora confirmed that Bello (forearm) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Monday's game against the Angels in Boston, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Bello will be making his first start of the season for the big club after beginning the campaign on the IL with right forearm inflammation. He made his lone rehab start with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday and was mightily impressive, striking out four over six innings while allowing one earned run on four hits and no walks. Expect Bello's activation to be made official shortly before Monday's 11:10 a.m. ET opening pitch. The Red Sox haven't said if they will expand to a six-man rotation with the addition of Bello, but his arrival could push Tanner Houck to the bullpen if Cora elects to keep a five-man rotation intact.

Dunning allowed one hit and struck out one over 1.2 scoreless innings to earn a hold in Friday's 6-2 win over the Astros.

Dunning doused a minor eruption in the sixth inning -- a runner on and no outs -- and pitched into the seventh before giving way to Will Smith. It was the first hold for Dunning, who has not allowed a run over five outings (11 innings).

Wentz didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 7-5 extra-innings win over the Giants, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

The southpaw served up a leadoff homer to Thairo Estrada but was impressive for the rest of his outing, coming one out short of a quality start and generating 30 called plus swinging strikes among his 94 pitches. It was Wentz's best performance of the season, but he'll still carry a 6.39 ERA and mediocre 10:6 K:BB through 12.2 innings into his next start, likely to come at home next week against the Guardians.

Milone did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over 4.2 innings against the Rockies. He struck out three.

Milone delivered a solid outing after getting called up from Triple-A Tacoma the day before. The 36-year old was yanked after throwing just 82 pitches, but this was most likely an effort by Seattle's staff to ease him back into the big leagues. It remains to be seen what exactly the left-hander's role will be within the Mariners' pitching staff as the season continues.

Kaprielian (0-2) took the loss Friday, allowing six runs on four hits and seven walks over 3.2 innings against the Mets. He struck out four.

This is now three bad starts for Kaprielian in as many appearances. While it's still early, the righty's 12.15 ERA thus far is not doing much to help the last-place A's. The 29-year-old will need to start stringing together some better games in order to keep his rotation spot long-term.

Singer (1-1) took the loss Friday, allowing eight runs on 10 hits and zero walks over five innings against Atlanta. He struck out eight.

Singer served up seven runs in the first two frames, but he was able to settle down and get through five innings for a third straight game. After allowing just one run in his season debut, the right-hander has given up 13 runs over his past two outings, though he did post a 12:0 K:BB during those contests. Singer is tentatively scheduled to pitch next versus the Rangers.

Canning will stick in the Angels' rotation and make his next scheduled start, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Canning made his 2023 debut Wednesday against Washington, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out four batters over five innings. The start was his first in the majors in over a year, as his 2022 campaign was wiped out due to a back injury. The Angels were off the following day, but that won't result in the team skipping Canning's turn in the rotation. The right-hander figures to face off against the Yankees in New York his next time out.

Wells did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings against the White Sox. He struck out three.

Wells served up a solo home run to Jake Burger in the second inning to open the scoring but was able to settle down and tossed three scoreless frames before getting into trouble in the sixth. The right-hander allowed four of the first five hitters to reach in the inning and was pulled after an RBI single from Eloy Jimenez extended Chicago's lead to 3-1. After tossing five scoreless innings in his first start of the year, Wells has given up seven runs over his past two outings (11.1 innings), but he did post a 9:1 K:BB during those contests.

Clevinger did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing zero runs on one hit and five walks over six innings during a 6-3 loss to the Orioles. He struck out five.

Clevinger was able to work around his control issues and minimize hard contact en route to his second scoreless outing of the season, but he lost out on an opportunity to secure a third straight win after Baltimore struck for four runs in the seventh inning off Chicago's bullpen. Through three outings (16.1 innings), Clevinger sports a 14:10 K:BB and a 2.20 ERA. His next outing is tentatively scheduled for next week's three-game set with Philadelphia.
