Tiedemann (elbow) did not make a scheduled rehab start with Single-A Dunedin on Tuesday due to neck soreness, Thomas Hall of MLB.com reports.

Tiedemann had been set for his first start with Dunedin after making a pair of one-inning starts in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. The Blue Jays have not yet decided when Tiedemann will next take the ball, but the neck issue shouldn't be too significant of a setback. Tiedemann missed all of 2025 after Tommy John surgery and was shut down this spring due to renewed elbow soreness. He will eventually be assigned to Triple-A Buffalo once he's done with his rehab assignment.

Kolek won't be available to make his scheduled start Friday against the White Sox and is expected to be placed on the paternity list prior to the contest, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

Once he's officially placed on the list, Kolek will be away from the club for the next 1-to-3 days, by rule. He could rejoin the team this weekend to make a start against the White Sox, though the Royals might also opt to just skip the right-hander's turn through the rotation. Kolek is coming off his worst start of the season, having allowed nine runs over 1.2 innings in a loss to the Cardinals last Sunday.

The Rays recalled Grove from Triple-A Durham on Thursday.

Grove finished his rehab from shoulder surgery and was optioned to Durham recently following the conclusion of his rehab assignment. Now, he's back in the big leagues as a replacement for the injured Steven Matz (ankle). Assuming Grove appears in a game, it will be his first at the big-league level since 2024.

The Rays placed Matz on the 15-day injured list Thursday with a left ankle sprain.

It's unclear when or how Matz was injured, but it will cost him at least the next two weeks of action. Matz has been roughed up for 10 runs (nine earned) over seven innings in five appearances since being demoted to the Rays' bullpen.

Fedde didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Guardians, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks over four innings of relief. He struck out two.

Working behind opener Chris Murphy, Fedde dealt with traffic on the basepaths in every frame he was on the mound for, but the veteran right-hander was able to keep Cleveland off the board until finally buckling in the sixth inning and getting lifted after 75 pitches (44 strikes). Fedde was on the hook for his seventh loss of 2026, but he escaped when the White Sox tied it up in the ninth off Guardians closer Cade Smith. Fedde has been stingy over five appearances (one start) in June, posting a 1.69 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB through 21.1 innings. His next turn through the rotation, either as a traditional starter or bulk reliever, is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Baltimore.

Bibee didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the White Sox, allowing three hits and a walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out three.

The right-hander overcame a 160-minute rain delay before the first pitch to put together one of his best outings of the season, but Bibee saw his third win slip away when Cade Smith suffered a rare blown save in the ninth inning. Bibee tossed 58 of 89 pitches for strikes as he produced his ninth quality start of the season, and over four trips to the mound in June he's delivered a 1.71 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 21:7 K:BB over 26.1 innings. Bibee will look to stay locked in for his next trip to the mound, which is set to come at home early next week against the Rangers.

Ryan (5-4) took the loss Wednesday against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out nine over six innings.

Ryan's outing got off to a rough start when Mookie Betts led off the second inning with a solo homer, and Los Angeles added three more runs in the third to build what proved to be the decisive lead. Despite the loss, the right-hander's stuff remained electric, as he matched his season high with nine strikeouts and generated 17 swinging strikes. Ryan has now completed at least six innings in eight of his last nine starts. He'll carry a 3.18 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 108:19 K:BB across 93.1 innings into his next scheduled start on the road against Houston.

Jump allowed three hits and a walk while striking out nine over five scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Wednesday.

Jump's nine strikeouts reset his season high for the third start in a row. He's also kept runs off the board in three of his six career starts so far. The 23-year-old now has a 2.04 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 35:10 K:BB across 35.1 innings. He's also yet to allow a home run, which is particularly useful in a hitter-friendly home park. Jump's next projected start will be the biggest test of his young career, as he is lined up for a home start against the Dodgers.

Weathers (3-5) notched the win Wednesday against the Yankees, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out six.

Weathers outdueled Tigers southpaw Tarik Skubal on Wednesday, keeping the ball in the park on a night where Skubal was taken yard three times. That also makes it back-to-back quality starts for Weathers, which is an encouraging sign after the southpaw gave up 16 runs across his previous three outings. Weather has a respectable 3.95 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 95:24 K:BB over 86.2 innings, and he's set to get another crack at Detroit at home in his next appearance.

Skubal (3-4) took the loss Wednesday against the Yankees, allowing four runs on four hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out nine.

The Yankees made the most out of their hits, taking Skubal deep three times Wednesday. The All-Star left-hander served up a trio of home runs for the sixth time in his career, and he's now given up six homers in his last three starts since coming off the injured list after surrendering only two in his first seven outings of 2026. Skubal will be trying to right the ship when he brings a 3.32 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 66:8 K:BB over 59.2 innings into a scheduled rematch with the Yankees next week in New York.
