Green (shoulder) threw one inning for Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday and is expected to make another rehab appearance Wednesday, setting him up to potentially join the Blue Jays bullpen this weekend, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

The right-hander breezed through his scoreless frame on only nine pitches Sunday, striking out one batter. Green had a strong start to the season before suffering a shoulder strain in mid-April, recording a win, two saves and two holds in seven appearances with a 2.35 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB in 7.2 innings. He should immediately slot back into a high-leverage role upon activation, but Green's save chances will be limited with Jordan Romano back in the ninth inning after beginning the year on the IL.

Jimenez (1-1) blew his first save of the season and took the loss in the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Padres, coughing up four runs on three hits and two walks in one inning. He failed to strike out a batter.

The right-hander entered a 5-2 game in the top of the eighth inning and immediately issued a four-pitch walk to Ha-Seong Kim, setting the stage for a rare disastrous outing. Jimenez has only been charged with runs in three of his 18 appearances this season, posting a 3.50 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB over 18 innings with nine holds and a win as one of Atlanta's most reliable setup men.

Martinez is listed as the Reds' probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Padres in Cincinnati.

After Nick Lodolo (groin) went on the injured list, Martinez stepped into the vacant rotation spot last week in Los Angeles. He was deployed in bulk relief behind opener Brent Suter in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers, tossing five shutout innings while allowing one hit and no walks. Barring a late change of plans from manager David Bell, Martinez looks poised to operate as a traditional starter Wednesday, and he should have a higher innings ceiling as a result.

Clase earned a save against the Mets on Monday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.

Clase inherited a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth frame and made quick work of New York, needing just 12 pitches to set down the side in order. The right-hander has yielded just one earned run all season, giving him a sparkling 0.37 ERA through 24.1 frames. Clase has posted an outstanding 24:2 K:BB and is tied for first in the majors with 14 saves.

Iglesias notched a save in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Padres, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Atlanta got seven dominant scoreless innings from Chris Sale before Pierce Johnson took over with a scoreless frame in the eighth. Iglesias then completed the shutout with a perfect 13-pitch ninth. The veteran closer hasn't posted his usual big strikeout numbers with just a 12:5 K:BB over 18.1 innings, but he's converted 11 of 13 save chances this season while registering a 2.45 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.

Hudson struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Monday's 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Hudson is on a five-inning scoreless streak dating back to his May 8 save versus the Marlins. He's served as the Dodgers' top closing option since Evan Phillips (hamstring) went on the injured list earlier in May, though save chances have been sparse. Hudson has two saves since Phillips was hurt, while J.P. Feyereisen, who was reassigned to Triple-A Oklahoma City over the weekend, is the only other reliever to pick up a save in that span. For the season, Hudson is at a 2.70 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 22:1 K:BB with three saves and eight holds over 20 innings.

Suarez picked up a save against Atlanta in the first game of a doubleheader Monday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.

For most of the contest it seemed unlikely that Suarez would be deployed, as Atlanta got out to an early lead and was ahead 5-0 through four innings. However, San Diego fought back and took a one-run lead in the eighth, giving Suarez a chance to close things out in the ninth. He did so easily, needing just seven pitches to set down the side in order. Suarez had been used in the eighth inning to face the heart of Atlanta's order his previous time on the mound, but there's little doubt that he's San Diego's primary closer. The right-hander has registered a minuscule 0.44 ERA and 0.64 WHIP along with an 18:4 K:BB while racking up 13 saves in 13 chances on the season.

Estevez allowed a run on two hits and a walk without striking out a batter over one inning, earning the save in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros.

Estevez's last two outings came in non-save situations after he blew a save May 10 versus the Royals. The closer is now 7-for-10 in save chances this season, though there are some warning signs reemerging after he struggled late in 2023. He's now at a 5.17 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 17:2 K:BB through 15.2 innings this season. As long as the walk rate stays down, Estevez should be able to right the ship, but he's allowed multiple baserunners in six of his last 10 outings.

Helsley walked one and struck out none over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

Helsley hadn't pitched since last Tuesday, but he didn't show much rust. The closer is on a 10-inning scoreless streak, and he's earned seven saves and a win in that span. For the season, he's 14-for-15 in save chances with a 2-2 record, a 1.29 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB over 21 innings. Helsley's strong pitching has helped him go unquestioned as the Cardinals' closer this year, though the team's 21-26 record leaves some doubt about whether he can keep picking up saves at such a strong pace.

Stratton struck out one batter over 1.1 perfect innings and earned a save over the Tigers on Monday.

Stratton entered in the eighth inning with two outs and the bases jammed. He escaped the threat and retired the side in order to preserve the win. The dangerous circumstances allowed him to earn the save despite Kansas City winning 8-3, which would explain why James McArthur wasn't used. Stratton owns a 4.95 ERA with three saves and three holds through 19 appearances.
