Phillips (shoulder) allowed two runs on three hits while striking out two batters in one inning during a rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

While Phillips struggled Tuesday, he also had some bad fortune, as one of the hits he allowed was a grounder off the end of the bat and another was a soft liner over the head of the first baseman. It's been a rough rehab stint so far for Phillips, as he has a 7.71 ERA across five appearances covering 4.2 frames. The Dodgers will likely be more focused on Phillips' strong 8:1 K:BB so far, however, and it wouldn't be surprising if the veteran reliever is activated off the IL in the near future.

Clevinger allowed three earned runs on two hits and a walk across one inning Tuesday against the A's.

Clevinger entered the game in the ninth inning with the White Sox down by six runs. The effort continued what has been an uninspiring start to the campaign, as he's now allowed at least one earned run in three of his eight appearances and has an ugly 3:8 K:BB. The White Sox have yet to record a save this season, but Clevinger appears to be the top candidate for the closer role when required.

Birdsong was charged with two earned runs on two hits and a walk over one inning during Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

The 23-year-old reliever entered the game in the seventh, giving up his first runs of the season on a two-run homer by Bryce Harper. Pitching on one day's rest, Birdsong struggled with control, throwing 12 of his 24 pitches for strikes Tuesday. It was also the first time that he pitched fewer than two innings this season. The right-hander has recorded a 1.80 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and a 9:4 K:BB with three holds and one hit batter over 10 innings in five appearances.

Williams earned the save in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Royals, striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning.

Williams got the call to come into the ninth inning to protect a 4-2 lead. He needed 16 pitches (11 of which were strikes) to get through the frame, finishing things off by punching out MJ Melendez to record his third save of the season. Williams has not given up a run over his last three outings and has struck out three batters while allowing two hits and two walks in those three innings.

Hader picked up the save Tuesday against the Cardinals after throwing a clean ninth inning. He struck out one.

Hader quickly dispatched St. Louis on just 10 pitches (seven strikes), getting Jordan Walker to chase a slider for the final out of the contest. The hard-throwing left-hander has been electric to the tune of a 1.00 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB through nine innings while converting each of his first four save opportunities.

Duran picked up the save Tuesday against the Mets after allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out one.

A throwing error by Willi Castro set the table for the Mets, later enabling a Luisangel Acuna single to bring the tying run to the plate in a 6-3 game. Duran was still ultimately able to fan Francisco Lindor to earn his first save of the campaign. The hard-throwing right-hander remains the favorite for saves over Griffin Jax in the Minnesota bullpen, with Duran logging a 1.23 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 6:3 K:BB over 7.1 innings to begin the season.

Champan earned the save in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rays, striking out the only batter he faced.

Zack Kelly came in for the seventh inning of Tuesday's game, and after pitching two scoreless frames he was brought back out for the ninth. He proceeded to yield two runs to reduce the Red Sox's lead to three, which prompted Boston manager Alex Cora to bring in Chapman to record the final out. Chapman needed five pitches to record his fourth save of the season, tossing a 99 mph fastball past Curtis Mead for the punchout. Chapman has a 1.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB across 7.1 innings to start his Red Sox tenure.

The Mets will recall Hagenman from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

It's unclear if Hagenman will start Wednesday against the Twins or if the Mets will opt to use an opener, but the 28-year-old righty will be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into the game. He hasn't been very impressive in the minors, however, as he's allowed 11 runs (eight earned) across 10.1 innings.

The Tigers optioned Hanifee to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Hanifee pitched 1.1 innings during the Tigers' loss to Milwaukee on Tuesday, surrendering two unearned runs on three hits and a walk. He now owns a 2.25 ERA and 1.13 WHIP through eight innings, but he'll end up as the roster casualty needed to make room for Keider Montero, who will be promoted to start Wednesday's contest.

Finnegan struck out two batters in a scoreless inning and earned a save against the Pirates on Tuesday.

Finnegan retired all three batters he faced to quickly close out the 3-0 victory. He's converted each of his six save chances this season and has thrown 4.2 consecutive scoreless frames. His ERA dropped to 1.17 with an 8:4 K:BB across 7.2 innings.
