Atlanta recalled Daniel from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Daniel was recently placed on Gwinnett's temporary inactive list earlier this week for the birth of his child, but he's ready to return to action and will end up joining the big club for the second time this season, and the right-hander will start Sunday in St. Louis. Atlanta has a pair of open spots in its rotation, so with a respectable showing, Daniel could begin the second half in a starting role. Over 14 appearances (13 starts) at Gwinnett this season, Daniel owns a 3.27 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 59:31 K:BB across 71.2 innings.

Vesia notched a hold against the Giants on Saturday by retiring both batters he faced in the eighth inning.

Vesia entered the contest in a huge spot, inheriting a bases-loaded, one-out situation with the Dodgers holding a 2-0 lead. The lefty was able to keep Los Angeles ahead, allowing a Rafael Devers sacrifice fly before getting Matt Chapman to ground into a fielder's choice. Vesia has been outstanding across the past six weeks, posting a 1.23 ERA, 0.48 WHIP and 18:2 K:BB over 14.2 frames while recording six holds and two saves across 18 appearances. He's been one of Los Angeles' top high-leverage arms throughout the campaign, and his 17 holds have already a established a new career high.

Gaddis experienced a cramp during Friday's outing but stayed in the game, MLB.com reports.

Gaddis was checked out by the staff and remained in the game, picking up a hold along the way. He said there was some soreness Saturday but indicated he was feeling better. With the All-Star break coming up, Gaddis looks like he'll be ready to go when the schedule resumes.

Morillo allowed four runs on five hits while striking out one over one inning in Saturday's 10-5 loss to the Angels.

Morillo, who entered the game to begin the eighth inning with a 0.82 ERA over his previous 14 outings, let a one-run deficit balloon to five by the time he was done. In the wake of several bullpen injuries, the rookie's name was recently floated for high-leverage situations, but he was not up to challenge Saturday. Although walks didn't play a role in Saturday's performance, control has been a challenge for Morillo, who owns a 5.3 BB/9.

Vodnik (3-3) blew the save and took the loss in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Cincinnati. He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk without recording an out.

The right-hander allowed a game-tying triple to Will Benson before a fielding error by Orlando Arcia on a Noelvi Marte groundball ended the game. It marked Vodnik's fourth blown save and third loss of the season. While he holds a 2.63 ERA over 27.1 innings in 2025, a 1.43 WHIP and 4.25 FIP point to underlying concerns.

Junk (4-1) earned the win Saturday, allowing five hits and no walks over seven scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory over the Orioles. He struck out two.

Junk wasn't dominant against the Orioles, tallying just two strikeouts, but he effectively managed contact to deliver seven scoreless innings and earn his fourth win of the season. The right-hander now owns a 2.68 ERA and 0.99 WHIP across 50.1 innings in 10 appearances (five starts). While his limited track record at the major-league level warrants some caution, Junk appears to be finding his stride in MLB at age 29.

Iglesias earned a save against the Cardinals on Saturday, striking out one batter over one perfect inning.

Iglesias was tasked with preserving a one-run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning, and he did so with ease, retiring all three batters he faced on 11 pitches. After a rough first two-plus months of the campaign -- Iglesias held a 6.75 ERA as recently as June 5 -- the veteran reliever has rebounded with 14 straight scoreless outings, during which he's posted a 17:1 K:BB across 12.2 frames. At one point it seemed Atlanta could be moving on from Iglesias at closer, but the right-hander has a save each of the past two days and appears to be back in control of the ninth-inning role.

Bummer allowed three runs on four hits and no walks while striking out one batter over two innings in a no-decision as an opener against St. Louis on Saturday.

Bummer was tabbed to open the bullpen game for Atlanta and gave the team two innings. While he was able to keep the ball in the strike zone, throwing 21 of 33 pitches for strikes and issuing zero free passes, he was tagged for three runs in the second frame, with two of the runs coming on a Nolan Gorman homer. It's not yet clear how Atlanta plans to fill the rotation spot that opened when Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow) landed on the injured list in early July, so Bummer could be called upon to fill the same role after the All-Star break, though the team figures to eventually settle upon a traditional starter.

Hader allowed a run on two hits and struck out two in one inning to take a blown save in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Rangers.

Hader served up a game-tying home run to Kyle Higashioka in the ninth inning, which stuck the Houston closer with his first blown save of the year. He's also showing some struggles -- after allowing four runs (three earned) across 13.2 innings in June, he's been charged with six runs (five earned) through five frames in July. The long ball remains a problem, as Hader has given up eight homers in 42.2 innings this season, though he's largely been successful by converting 25 of 26 save chances. He's added a 2.53 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 65:9 K:BB, ratios that are better than last year across the board.

Strahm threw a clean eighth inning in Saturday's 5-4 loss to San Diego. He struck out two.

Even though Strahm hasn't seen a save chance since June 29, he's been excellent to start July. The veteran left-hander has fanned multiple batters in three of his first four appearances of the month, allowing a lone hit over four scoreless innings so far. It's worth noting Orion Kerkering has stumbled to a 6.23 ERA over his last 4.1 frames, which should give Strahm a leg up in Philadelphia's competition for save opportunities going forward.
