Bryan Shaw RP | CIN
Rockies' Bryan Shaw: Dealt loss Tuesday
Shaw (1-3) allowed three runs on three hits over one inning while taking the loss Tuesday against the Dodgers.
Shaw came on in the sixth inning tasked to hold a 3-2 lead, but after a single and groundout he allowed back-to-back home runs and was served with the loss and blown save for his second appearance in a row. It's been a bumpy road for the 30-year-old this season, as he now has a 5.92 ERA and 1.56 WHIP through 24.1 innings.

Kenley Jansen RP | DET
Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Coming on strong
Jansen gave up a hit and struck out a batter over a scoreless inning en route to his ninth save in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.
Jansen's early-season struggles appear to be in the rear-view mirror, as the closer has looked like his former self with a 0.82 ERA and six saves in the month of May. The 30-year-old's 3.3 K/BB ratio is still the worst since his rookie campaign, but that number should continue to rise so long as he continues to dominate the way he has recently.

Brock Stewart RP | LAD
Dodgers' Brock Stewart: Lasts four innings Tuesday
Stewart gave up two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out one over four innings in a spot-start Tuesday. He did not factor in the decision in a 5-3 win over Colorado.
Stewart was called up to take Rich Hill's spot in the rotation. The 26-year-old was aggressive in the zone, firing 40 of his 63 pitches for strikes. He wasn't able to go deep enough into the game to reap the benefits of the Dodgers' sixth-inning comeback. Hill is expected to miss up to four weeks (assuming MLB won't allow him to wear a wrap on his hand while he pitches), so Stewart could see at least one more turn in the rotation if Clayton Kershaw (biceps) doesn't make his return from the DL this weekend.

Andrew Suarez RP | BAL
Giants' Andrew Suarez: Gives up five in loss Tuesday
Suarez (1-4) allowed five runs on seven hits in four innings Tuesday, striking out two and walking two in a loss to the Astros.
Suarez wasn't locating his pitches very effectively in Tuesday's outing, throwing just 37 of 68 pitches for strikes. Over his last three starts, Suarez has allowed 14 earned runs across 14 innings while striking out 12 and walking five. The left-hander now carries a 5.68 ERA, with opponents hitting .303 off him. His next start will be a matchup with the Rockies in Denver.

Matt Koch RP | COL
Diamondbacks' Matt Koch: Takes tough-luck loss versus Brewers
Koch (2-3) allowed one run on three hits and three walks across 5.1 innings while taking the loss Tuesday against the Brewers. He struck out five.
Koch retired the first 11 batters he faced and took a shutout into the sixth inning. He allowed a double and a walk to begin the frame, however, and was charged with a run as the bullpen let an inherited runner cross the plate after his removal. Koch bounced back nicely after he was shelled for eight runs in his previous start, and he's now allowed two runs or fewer in six of his eight appearances this season. He'll take a 3.77 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into next Monday's start against the Reds.

Arodys Vizcaino RP | KC
Braves' Arodys Vizcaino: Records ninth save
Vizcaino pitched a clean ninth inning and struck out one to record the save Tuesday against the Phillies.
Vizcaino entered the game in the ninth inning with a two-run lead and had no problem converting his ninth save of the season. Despite consistent rumblings about the closer situation in Atlanta, Vizcaino clearly remains the primary closer as he has recorded nine of the team's 12 saves on the season.

Pat Venditte RP | LAD
Dodgers' Pat Venditte: Sent back to minors
Venditte was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Venditte was sent back to the minors to open up a roster spot for Tuesday's starter, Brock Stewart. He didn't appear in a game for the Dodgers during his most recent big-league stint. Venditte will continue to serve as organizational bullpen depth in the minors.
-
Brock Stewart RP | LAD
Dodgers' Brock Stewart: Recalled ahead of Tuesday's start
Stewart was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City and will start Tuesday against the Rockies.
As expected, Stewart was summoned from the minors to take Rich Hill's place in the rotation. The 26-year-old owns a 4.37 ERA across 68 career big-league innings. Through five starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, Stewart has compiled a shiny 2.08 ERA. Pat Venditte was sent to the minors in a corresponding move.

Brock Stewart RP | LAD
Dodgers' Brock Stewart: Set for Tuesday's start
Stewart will start Tuesday against the Rockies, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
The 26-year-old has thrown 5.2 innings of relief for the Dodgers so far this year, allowing two runs. In 68 career big-league innings, he has a 4.37 ERA, with strikeout (19.7 percent) and walk (11.4 percent) rates which both fall on the wrong side of league average. He's been good in five starts for Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, posting a 2.08 ERA.
