Jordan Yamamoto RP | LAD
Mets' Jordan Yamamoto: Dealing with shoulder soreness
Yamamoto was removed from Sunday's start against the Marlins with right shoulder soreness, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
The right-hander was pulled due to the shoulder issue after surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits across four innings. It was likely only a spot start for Yamamoto with Jacob deGrom (side) set to return from this injured list this week, but the 25-year-old could now be headed to the injured list rather than back to the minors.

Peter Lambert SP | HOU
Rockies' Peter Lambert: Resumes mound work
Lambert (elbow) was recently cleared to resume throwing bullpen sessions, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.
Lambert will advance to the next phase in his rehab program following July 2020 Tommy John surgery after he experienced no setbacks while throwing off flat ground. The right-hander should gradually increase the intensity of his bullpen sessions over the next few weeks before testing himself against hitters in live batting practice at some point in June. The 24-year-old will have an outside chance to return from the 60-day injured list late in the second half of the season, but the Rockies likely won't be counting on him to fill a rotation spot.

Dellin Betances RP | LAD
Mets' Dellin Betances: Completes side session
Betances (shoulder) threw a side session Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
The 33-year-old has been sidelined by a right shoulder impingement since making his season debut April 7, and this is the first indication that he's back to throwing. Betances is eligible to return from the 60-day injured list in early June, though he figures to face a longer absence given Sunday's side session was his first since landing on the shelf.

Dinelson Lamet RP | LAD
Padres' Dinelson Lamet: Throws three innings in relief
Lamet earned a hold in Saturday's win over Seattle, tossing three innings and allowing one unearned run on two hits and no walks while striking out five.
Lamet again worked in tandem with Ryan Weathers, who covered the first four innings of the game. Craig Stammen came on and pitched the fifth while Lamet handled innings six through eight. The right-hander was dominant in long relief, picking up five punchouts and allowing only an unearned run. Per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune, Lamet maintained 96-97 mph heat on his fastball, providing optimism that he is getting stronger as he continues to build up. The 28-year-old could return to a starting role at some point during the campaign, which would boost his fantasy value considerably.

Bryse Wilson RP | MIL
Braves' Bryse Wilson: Sent back to Triple-A
Wilson was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
The 23-year-old recorded the win Saturday after giving up one run over 6.2 innings, but he'll head back to Triple-A since Atlanta has a pair of scheduled off days during the upcoming week. Wilson has a 2.13 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB over two starts (12.2 innings) in May, and it's only a matter of time before he receives another chance in the majors this season.

Jordan Yamamoto RP | LAD
Mets' Jordan Yamamoto: Set to start Sunday
Yamamoto will start Sunday's game against the Marlins, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
The 25-year-old has lined up to start one of the weekend games in Miami this weekend since joining the team at the start of the series, and he's now been confirmed as the pitcher for Sunday's contest. Yamamoto made one appearance this season in early May and allowed one run on four hits with one strikeout and zero walks over 2.2 innings.

Alex Reyes RP | LAD
Cardinals' Alex Reyes: Secures 14th save
Reyes earned the save against the Cubs on Saturday, pitching a scoreless inning during which he gave up one hit and struck out one batter.
The right-hander yielded a two-out infield single but was otherwise both effective and efficient in the outing, getting through the ninth inning on 13 pitches (eight of which were strikes). Reyes has been a revelation in his first full-time stint as a closer, going 14-for-14 in save chances and registering a minuscule 0.38 ERA across 24 innings. His 1.25 WHIP and 7.5 BB/9 suggest that the ERA is buoyed by some good fortune, but it's hard to argue with the overall results.

Spencer Howard SP | CLE
Phillies' Spencer Howard: Struggles in short start
Howard (0-1) was charged with the loss against Boston on Saturday, allowing two runs on one hit and four walks while striking out five over three innings.
Howard showed flashes of his considerable potential in the contest, allowing only one hit -- a double -- and punching out five batters. However, the 24-year-old had problems finding the plate, throwing only 39 of 68 pitches for strikes and issuing four free passes. His struggles were especially harmful in the third inning, when Boston cashed in two of his three walks, including one issued to the opposing pitcher. With Matt Moore going on the 10-day IL on Saturday due to back spasms, Howard could get another chance to make his case for a long-term spot in the rotation. He's tentatively lined up to start at Miami on Thursday.

Daniel Bard RP | COL
Rockies' Daniel Bard: Notches fifth save
Bard recorded the save during Saturday's 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks with two strikeouts and one hit allowed during a scoreless ninth inning.
The 35-year-old appeared to be in trouble after giving up a leadoff double to David Peralta to put the tying run in scoring position, but he retired the next three hitters via two strikeouts and a foul popup. Bard has converted five of eight save chances with a 5.29 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB across 17 innings, though he's given up only one earned run in his past seven outings.

Mark Melancon RP | ARI
Padres' Mark Melancon: Two-out save
Melancon went two-thirds of an inning with no runs, hits or walks and two strikeouts to secure his 16th save in San Diego's 6-4 win against Seattle on Saturday.
San Diego entered the ninth with a four-run lead but reliever Austin Adams allowed two baserunners and a run which necessitated Melancon's services. A throwaway from Melancon himself enabled another run to score but the MLB saves leader whiffed both Mariners he faced to lock down the Padres' victory. He remains an elite option.
