Raisel Iglesias RP | ATL
Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Converts 18th save
Iglesias struck out the side in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over Milwaukee.
Iglesias has a pair of saves over his last two appearances since his July 18 stumble versus Arizona. The right-hander has pitched a perfect inning in four of his eight appearances this month. He's at a 3.94 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 37:9 K:BB with 18 saves in 20 chances over 29.2 innings this season.

A.J. Minter RP | NYM
Braves' A.J. Minter: Rehab appearance on tap
Minter (shoulder) will make a rehab appearance at Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Minter has been on the injured list since mid-July due to mild left shoulder inflammation, but he felt good after throwing a bullpen session Saturday. His rehab assignment should be the final step in his recovery process before he's cleared to rejoin Atlanta's bullpen.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Braves' Jesse Chavez: Heads to 60-day IL
Atlanta transferred Chavez (shin) to the 60-day injured list from the 15-day IL on Sunday.
Chavez's move to the 60-day IL comes as no major surprise after manager Brian Snitker disclosed Saturday that the right-hander was still walking with a limp and was "weeks away" from being activated. The 39-year-old was initially deactivated June 15 due to a left shin contusion and won't be eligible to rejoin the Atlanta bullpen until around mid-August.

Pedro Avila RP | CLE
Padres' Pedro Avila: Called up Sunday
The Padres recalled Avila from Triple-A El Paso ahead of Sunday's game against the Tigers.
San Diego optioned its starter from Saturday's 14-3 win -- Jackson Wolf -- to Double-A San Antonio in a corresponding move. Avila is expected to serve as a multi-inning option out of the bullpen while he's up with San Diego.

Zack Thompson RP | STL
Cardinals' Zack Thompson: Handed third loss
Thompson (2-3) allowed three runs on two hits and two walks while recording one strikeout in one-third of an inning to take the loss Saturday versus the Cubs.
Thompson struggled and was pulled after allowing a two-run single to Cody Bellinger. Drew VerHagen then allowed an inherited runner to score the game's last run. Thompson has a win and a loss over his two appearances since rejoining the Cardinals' major-league roster. The southpaw has a shaky 5.79 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 19:11 K:BB through 14 major-league innings as a low-leverage option.

Karl Kauffmann RP | COL
Rockies' Karl Kauffmann: On taxi squad, could pitch Monday
Kauffmann joined the Rockies' taxi squad earlier this weekend and could be formally called up from Triple-A Albuquerque to either start or serve as a bulk reliever in Monday's game in Washington, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Colorado is treating its series finale in Miami on Sunday as a bullpen day, so the team will presumably wait and see how the game plays out before determining if it wants to deploy an opener in front of Kauffmann or use the right-hander as a traditional starter. Either way, Kauffmann doesn't profile as a reliable streaming option after he posted a 10.19 ERA, 2.04 WHIP and 8:10 K:BB in 17.2 innings over five appearances (three starts) with the big club earlier this season. Since returning to Albuquerque in late June following his most recent stint in the majors, Kauffmann has logged a 5.71 ERA and 1.96 WHIP in 17.1 innings over three starts.

Joel Payamps RP | ATL
Brewers' Joel Payamps: Picks up fourth win
Payamps tossed a scoreless eighth inning and picked up his fourth win of the season in Saturday's 4-3 victory over Atlanta.
Payamps entered Saturday's contest with the two teams knotted on the scoreboard, and he wound up with the win after the Brewers plated a run in the bottom of the eighth and prevented Atlanta from doing any further scoring. Payamps has been on a major roll of late, tossing 15 straight scoreless appearances and posting a 0.50 WHIP and 21:2 K:BB in 16.0 innings over that span. He is locked into the setup spot in front of closer Devin Williams.

Adbert Alzolay RP | NYM
Cubs' Adbert Alzolay: Grabs another save Saturday
Alzolay pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's win over the Cardinals. He allowed one hit and struck out two.
Alzolay recorded a save for the second straight day and now has nine of them this season. The righty has clearly moved ahead of Mark Leiter for closer duties, with the latter working the eighth inning again Saturday. Alzolay has looked comfortable in the role with a 2.51 ERA and 10.0 K/9 this year, and he should continue to see the bulk of the save opportunities for the Cubs.

Daysbel Hernandez RP | ATL
Braves' Daysbel Hernandez: Joining big-league club
Atlanta selected Hernandez's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
The 26-year-old missed the entire 2022 campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery, but he returned to the mound this season and pitched well between Double-A Mississippi and Gwinnett with 26 strikeouts and just four hits allowed across 16.2 scoreless innings. Hernandez's first appearance will mark his MLB debut, and he's likely to fill a low-leverage role during his first taste of the big leagues.

Michael Fulmer RP | SF
Cubs' Michael Fulmer: Inefficient over two frames
Fulmer did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk over two innings against the Cardinals. He struck out two.
Fulmer didn't give the Cubs the start they'd hoped for, surrendering a leadoff home run to Lars Nootbaar on the very first pitch of the game. He also gave up a single and a walk in the inning but was able to work his way out of the jam and added two strikeouts in the second before being relieved by Drew Smyly to open the third. The right-handed reliever had not allowed a hit in three straight appearances coming in and now holds a lousy 9:7 K:BB in July.
