Chad Green RP | TOR
Yankees' Chad Green: Slated to start Sunday
Green will start Sunday against the Orioles, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
There had been some rumblings of Green possibly being passed over in favor of Domingo German, but Green will get the spot start. Green has fared well since joining the major-league club, allowing just three runs with a 20:4 K:BB in 16.2 innings, but he hasn't thrown more than 48 pitches in any of his seven appearances.

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Exits game with groin strain
Andriese left Saturday's game with a right groin strain, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.
The right-hander lasted one inning before suffering a recurrence of the same injury that he just returned from. Chih-Wei Hu replaced Andriese in Saturday's game, but Jacob Faria, who took a turn in place in Andriese earlier in the week, would be a logical candidate to slot into the rotation if this injury forces Andriese back to the disabled list.

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Leaves after one inning
Andriese left Saturday's start after one inning with an apparent injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Andriese gave up one run on three hits in the first inning and something seemed to go wrong as he was warming up for the second. A reason for his early exit has not yet been provided, but Andriese did just miss time with a groin strain. If this costs him additional time, Jacob Faria could return from Triple-A Durham.

Ryan Garton RP | SEA
Rays' Ryan Garton: Sent down to Triple-A
Garton was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
With Matt Andriese coming off the disabled list for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader, Garton was moved to make room for him on the roster. During his brief stay with the big-league team, Garton gave up seven earned runs in eight innings.

Emilio Pagan RP | CIN
Mariners' Emilio Pagan: Recalled from Tacoma
Pagan was called back up to Seattle on Saturday.
Pagan has gone back and forth between the Mariners and Triple-A Tacoma this season, and will join the team prior to Saturday's game against the Blue Jays. In three appearances with Seattle this season, he has given up five earned runs in 6.2 innings of work, with six strikeouts.

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Returns from disabled list Saturday
Andriese (groin) has returned from the disabled list and is pitching in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Andriese will be making his first start since being placed on the DL in late May. The right-hander hurled a successful bullpen on Wednesday and has accumulated a 3.45 ERA over the course of 11 starts in 2017. In a corresponding move, the team optioned Ryan Garton to Triple-A Durham.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: On track for return in Oakland
Chapman (shoulder) is on track to rejoin the Yankees for their series against the A's next weekend, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The Yankees have mapped out Chapman's upcoming rehab assignment where he'll start out at High-A Tampa on Tuesday before making one last stop at Double-A Trenton on Friday. Once Chapman makes it through those rehab appearances, he'll likely come off the disabled list later that weekend. His return will bump Dellin Betances from the closer's role.

Chad Green RP | TOR
Yankees' Chad Green: Candidate for spot start Sunday
Green is a candidate to start Sunday's series finale against the Orioles, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The Yankees have yet to confirm a starter for Sunday's contest, but Green appears to be the likeliest candidate to take the mound. Green has yet to make a start this season, but he has a number of multi-inning appearances that suggest he'd be a viable spot starter if necessary. In his most recent appearance, Green fanned five Red Sox over 3.1 scoreless and hitless innings. That said, if Saturday turns into a bullpen game for the Yankees, it could knock Green out of the running for Sunday's start.

Zach Neal RP | ATH
Athletics' Zach Neal: Gives up five earned runs in long relief
Neal gave up five earned runs on six hits over 4.1 innings in Friday's 13-4 loss to the Rays. He struck out four.
The 28-year-old was brought in after starter Andrew Triggs was blasted for eight earned runs in less than four frames, but he wasn't much better. It was a second consecutive poor long-relief effort for Neal after he gave up seven earned runs over 3.1 frames against the Nationals on June 2. Following Friday's outing, he sports an unsightly 10.13 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Notches 18th save Friday
Kimbrel struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 18th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Tigers.
He's fanned multiple batters in five straight appearances and converted 12 straight save opportunities, as Kimbrel continues to put together the best season of his career with a 0.98 ERA, 0.47 WHIP and 17.9 K/9.
