Ben Heller RP | CHC
Yankees' Ben Heller: Called up Saturday
Heller was recalled by the Yankees on Saturday.
Heller will make the trip to the big leagues for the second time this season after tossing one-third of an inning in his first stint. The right-handed reliever has a 2.68 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP over 37 innings in Triple-A this season and will likely be used in low-leverage situations while the Yankees have room on their roster for him. Jordan Montgomery, who was sent down to Triple-A in a corresponding move, will presumably be recalled when the need for a fifth starter arises June 17.

Tommy Kahnle RP | BOS
White Sox's Tommy Kahnle: Run as closer over
Kahnle is no longer serving as the White Sox's closer as David Robertson has returned from paternity leave, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Kahnle never got a save opportunity while Robertson was away from the team, although he made one ninth-inning appearance in a tied game and allowed a walkoff hit. He'll return to his eighth-inning setup role, but remains an option to close if/when the White Sox trade Robertson.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Drops to 7-5 with loss to Seattle
Manaea (7-5) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out just three batters through seven innings during Friday's loss to the Mariners.
Manaea has allowed three runs or fewer in nine of his past 10 starts and sports a 3.76 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 9.0 K/9 for the year. The young lefty is emerging as a matchup-proof fantasy asset entering the second half, and there is potential the best is still ahead. It's worth noting that an innings cap could come into play for the 25-year-old Manaea -- especially with Oakland last in the AL West.

Trevor Hildenberger RP | SF
Twins' Trevor Hildenberger: Earns first career win
Hildenberger threw 2.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts and no walks to earn his first career win in Friday's victory over Baltimore.
Hildenberger has thrown 7.1 scoreless innings to begin his big-league career with a 9:3 K:BB. He could quickly move to a high-leverage bullpen role with the Twins if he can sustain his early success.

Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Red Sox's Drew Pomeranz: Survives control issues Friday
Pomeranz (9-4) allowed two runs on six hits and five walks over six innings while striking out six in Friday's 8-3 win over the Rays.
He worked in and out of trouble all night, including a second-inning jam that featured runners on second and third with nobody out, but the Red Sox offense spotted Pomeranz a 5-0 lead before Tampa was able to push across a couple of runs in the fourth. The lefty has now won three straight starts and delivered quality starts in four of his last five outings, posting a 1.82 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 25:11 K:BB in 29.2 innings over that stretch.

J.B. Bukauskas RP | MIL
Astros' J.B. Bukauskas: Joining Gulf Coast League affiliate
Bukauskas will head to Florida on Saturday to join the Astros' Rookie-level affiliate in the Gulf Coast League, Adam Coleman of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Bukauskas, Houston's first-round draft pick (15th overall) in the 2017 draft, signed with the team earlier this week. The right-hander is coming off a strong season at the University of North Carolina, where he went 9-1 with a 2.53 ERA, 116 strikeouts and a .188 opponent batting average. After throwing a career-high 92 innings and returning to action after an extended layoff since his college career ended, Bukauskas will need to be brought along slowly in the GCL.

Aaron Loup RP | LAA
Blue Jays' Aaron Loup: Seeing reduction in usage
After enjoying regular usage through most of the season, Loup has logged just 4.2 innings over the team's last 17 games.
The 29-year-old left-hander was one of Toronto's best relievers through the campaign's early months, but he's seemingly fallen out of favor of late. Loup owned a 2.29 ERA at the conclusion of May, but he struggled greatly in June, posting an 8.64 ERA over 12 appearances last month.

Tanner Scott RP | LAD
Orioles' Tanner Scott: Makes it to All-Star Weekend
Scott was selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game on Sunday in Miami.
The 22-year-old southpaw has cruised past Eastern League hitters this season, posting a 1.84 ERA with 62 strikeouts through 17 starts (49 innings) with Double-A Bowie. Scott, the O's sixth-round selection in 2014, has jumped up the list of pitching prospects in 2017, and is worthy of monitoring in dynasty formats.

Matt Strahm RP | KC
Royals' Matt Strahm: Undergoes season-ending surgery
Strahm (knee) will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery for a torn patellar tendon, Rustin Dodd of the Kansas City Star reports.
The Royals were hoping Strahm would be able to get through the injury with rest and rehabilitation and return in late August, but after a second opinion, the two parties decided to go with surgery. Strahm will not pitch again in 2017, but the Royals are hopeful he will be healthy by spring training 2018.

Josh Staumont RP | CIN
Royals' Josh Staumont: Demoted to Double-A
Staumont (3-8, 6.28 ERA) was demoted to Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Thursday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
The highly-touted prospect had hopes of making his MLB debut in 2017, but Staumont struggled mightily in his first run at Triple-A. In 16 starts for the Storm Chasers, the 23-year-old surrendered 14 home runs and issued 63 free passes over 76 innings. Staumont remains a quality player for dynasty league owners to stash, but his expected big-league arrival date suffered a major setback this year.
