Treinen (shoulder) was activated from the injured list prior to Wednesday's game against the Twins, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Treinen made a remarkably quick recovery from a rotator cuff strain, and for what it's worth, he gave up three runs on four hits in one inning in his lone rehab appearance at Triple-A. He will presumably return to being Oakland's closer, but Liam Hendriks may still get the occassional save chance, given how well he has pitched of late.

Stanek will serve as the Rays' opening pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

Since Ryan Yarbrough worked multiple innings Monday before being optioned to Triple-A Durham and Yonny Chirinos is slated to take the hill Thursday against the Yankees, the Rays won't have their top two bulk-relief candidates available behind Stanek. As a result, it's expected the Rays will treat the series finale as more of a bullpen game, though it shouldn't result in any dramatic change in Stanek's workload. Stanek has maxed out at two innings this season and likely won't be asked to push past that total.

Wittgren delivered a perfect, 10-pitch eighth inning en route to earning a hold in Tuesday's 9-5 win over the Royals.

With nine holds on the season to go with some solid ratios, Wittgren has gained traction in the Indians' setup ranks and could warrant consideration for closing duties in the event All-Star Brad Hand sustains an injury or is traded. For the time being, however, Wittgren will remain little more than a speculative option for saves and probably won't be worth monitoring in most mixed leagues.

Cimber retired both of the batters he faced in the seventh inning to secure his eighth hold of the season Tuesday in the Indians' 9-5 win over the Royals.

Cimber has kept the opposition off the board in his last six appearances and now owns a 3.30 ERA for the season. While he's established himself as one of the more-trusted setup arms for closer Brad Hand, Cimber's weak 16.0 K% makes him rather unexciting for fantasy purposes.

Adams (1-0) was credited with the victory in a win over the Cardinals on Tuesday, firing 1.1 scoreless innings in which he allowed no hits or walks and struck out all four batters he faced.

Adams' first career victory came in fittingly dominant fashion, an extension of how effective he's proven to be since arriving in Seattle. The right-hander needed only 17 pitches to get through Tuesday's outing, and he extended his scoreless-appearance streak to 11 while lowering his ERA to 2.38 and WHIP to 0.97 across 23.2 innings.

Pressly struck out two in a perfect eighth inning to earn his 21st hold of the season Tuesday in the Astros' 9-8 win over the Rockies.

The altitude of Coors Field didn't seem to affect Pressly, who mowed down the All-Star trio of Trevor Story, David Dahl and Nolan Arenado in 13 pitches. These kind of dominant performances have been par for the course for Pressly, who earned his first All-Star appearance himself after posting a 1.43 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 43:4 K:BB over his first 37 appearances of 2019. After protecting another one-run lead, Pressly also reclaimed the MLB holds lead from the Yankees' Adam Ottavino.

De Leon (elbow) was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

De Leon has been limited to rehab action since undergoing Tommy John surgery last March. The 26-year-old has yet to establish himself at the big-league level, recording a 6.86 ERA in just 19.2 innings of work, and he won't get the chance to improve those numbers just yet. He did have at least a small amount of hype as a prospect thanks to a strong changeup, so he could make an impact on the Rays' roster at some point in the second half, either as a starter or a multi-inning relief arm following one of the team's many openers.

Devenski earned his third hold of the season in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Rockies after striking out two and issuing a walk during an inning of relief.

Once one of baseball's standout late-inning arms, Devenski has plummeted in Houston's bullpen hierarchy over the past season and a half, as his low hold total illustrates. While he steered clear of a blowup performance at Coors Field, Devenski has been vulnerable to the long ball in more pitcher-friendly environments in 2019 and will need to string together several quality outings in a row before recapturing a meaningful setup role.

Carasiti worked one inning in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals, giving up a run on two hits while notching a strikeout.

Working as the Mariners' opening pitcher for the third time in his four outings at the big-league level, Carasiti put the Mariners in an early hole by serving up a solo home run to Jose Martinez. Fortunately for Carasiti, the Seattle offense was able to pick him up while bulk reliever Wade LeBlanc and the rest of the bullpen limited the Cardinals' bats for the rest of the night.

Hu was designated for assignment by Cleveland on Wednesday.

Hu was removed from the 40-man roster to clear a spot for Andrew Velazquez (undisclosed), who was acquired in a trade from Tampa Bay in a corresponding move. Hu owns a very poor 7.95 ERA in 48.2 innings for Triple-A Columbus this season, though his 3.52 ERA in 23 career major-league innings could make him worth a look on waivers.
