Biddle was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to left shoulder fatigue, retroactive to Monday.

Biddle was lit up for four runs (three earned) over one frame in his last outing Sunday against the Astros, and it appears his poor performance may have had something to do with his shoulder issue. He'll be eligible to return starting July 25.

Swanson was recalled by the Mariners on Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

In seven appearances (six starts) with the major-league club through early May, Swanson recorded an ERA of 8.04, but he had decent command with a 24:5 K:BB. Since then, he's only managed an ERA of 6.98 and a 20:12 K:BB with Triple-A Tacoma. While the right-hander was mostly used as a starter during his previous stint in Seattle, it seems likely that he will pitch primarily in relief for the time being. Outfielder Mac Williamson was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Brasier was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Brasier hasn't been able to get the job done for the Red Sox this season out of the bullpen, accruing a 4.24 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with 36 punchouts over 40.1 innings. He's also blown three save opportunities over that stretch. Darwinzon Hernandez was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Robles picked up the save against the Astros on Monday, working around one hit to toss a scoreless ninth inning and close out the Angels' 9-6 victory. He struck out two and walked none.

It was another smooth effort for the 28-year-old, who logged his 14th save in 16 chances. Robles has grabbed hold of the primary closer role for the Angels thanks to his 2.62 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 46:11 K:BB through 44.2 innings, and he should continue to see the majority of the action in save opportunities during the second half of the season.

Puk (elbow) owns a 5.56 ERA and 1.59 WHIP across 11.1 innings over seven rehab appearances.

The left-hander does boast a 17:7 K:BB over that span, which includes three starts. Puk has yet to pitch more than two innings in any outing, however, and he's allowed three home runs overall. The 24-year-old has made his last four appearances with Double-A Midland, and he's expected to eventually move up his assignment to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Norris allowed five runs on eight hits and two walks over 5.2 innings Monday, striking out eight batters and taking the no-decision in the loss to Cleveland.

Norris got tagged for two home runs in this one, including a two-run shot from Mike Freeman in the second inning. Over his last four outings, the 26-year-old has been drilled for 19 runs in just 22.2 innings of work, raising his season ERA from 4.40 to 5.14 in the process. Still looking for his first win since May, Norris will face the Blue Jays at home Saturday.

Called on to protect a three-run lead, Hand coughed up a solo shot to Jordy Mercer to lead off the ninth inning. After allowing a single, he retired the final three batters to secure his 25th save. Despite giving up a run, Hand owns a 0.99 WHIP and 2.29 ERA.

Junis (5-8) struck out 10 and gave up one run on five hits and two walks through seven innings to take the win over the White Sox on Monday.

Junis generated 20 swinging strikes, 15 on his slider, in the dominant performance that led to a new career-high with 10 strikeouts. The right-hander has a 1.93 ERA with a 16:4 K:BB in his last two starts and could be beginning to turn the corner. Junis had a 3.35 ERA in the second half last season and could be on his way to similar results this year. Junis will make his next start Saturday against the Indians at Progressive Field.

Beeks is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Durham to serve as the bulk reliever Tuesday against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Beeks was sent down to Triple-A at the end of June, but he'll return to the big leagues in time for the second game of Tampa Bay's series in the Bronx. He's posted a 2.79 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 51 punchouts over 61.1 innings this season.
