Ryan Weber RP | NYY
Red Sox's Ryan Weber: Throws live BP
Weber threw live batting practice to several Red Sox regulars Monday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
Weber's strong spring put him in line for the No. 4 starter, and there's been nothing to diminish that outlook. He doesn't throw hard, but Weber changes speeds and commands. "Ryan is so consistent, so pinpoint, his stuff is so consistent," said center fielder Jackie Bradley. "Inside, outside, cutting it, two-seaming it, sliding it, curving it, he's looking good right now. I'm glad he's on our side." If he's named the fourth starter, Weber would be make his regular season debut July 27, at home against the Mets.

Jonathan Loaisiga RP | ARI
Yankees' Jonathan Loaisiga: Arrives in New York
Loaisiga arrived in New York from his home country of Nicaragua on Sunday, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.
Loaisiga was absent for the first official workout of the team's summer camp, but he was able to return to Yankee Stadium on Sunday. The right-hander will need to complete intake testing with a negative COVID-19 result before he is able to take the mound.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Considers wearing mask in games
Manaea, who is fully participating in the Athletics' summer camp workouts, is considering using a mask during games this season, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports. "I might use a face mask," Manaea said. "I don't know if we're required to wear it on the field, but I might as well just try it out and see what it's like. At least for a game."
The 28-year-old is considered the de facto ace of the Athletics' staff after putting together a dominant five-game sample at the end of 2019 following his return from shoulder surgery. Manaea explains he'd consider using the mask not only for his own safety, but with the hope it will encourage other players to wear one as well. The southpaw was able to maintain a regular throwing program in the Arizona area while play was paused, and he feels he's at the point where he can throw the equivalent of about three innings, a level he'll look to build up from in forthcoming intrasquad games.

Austin Adams RP | BOS
Mariners' Austin Adams: Impressing early in summer camp
Adams, who was confirmed to be completely recovered from offseason surgery shortly before summer camp started, has impressed manager Scott Servais in early summer camp workouts, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. "The knee is 100%," Servais said. "I saw him throw a full bullpen [session] yesterday and it was coming out hot. He looked really good. No hesitations, not holding back at all."
The hard-throwing right-hander finished third in AL strikeout rate (14.8 K/9) in 2019 after an early-May trade from the Nationals, so his full availability is integral to the Mariners' bullpen outlook. Adams is likely due for primary setup duties behind a potential closing duo of Yoshihisa Hirano and Matt Magill in the coming season.

Jimmy Lambert RP | CHW
White Sox's Jimmy Lambert: Completes live BP
Lambert (elbow) threw a live bullpen session Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Just over a year removed from Tommy John surgery, Lambert looks like he may be nearing the finish line in his rehab program. Though Lambert looks like he'll be a candidate to pitch for the big club in 2020 after the White Sox included him in their 60-man roster pool, it would be surprising if he cracked the team's 30-man Opening Day roster. Lambert will likely have his workload monitored carefully in summer camp coming off the major arm operation.

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Angels' Matt Andriese: Starting role remains possibility
Andriese has been stretching out to be a starter and could still be a part of the Angels' rotation, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Andriese had been lining up for a possible starting role prior to the suspension of spring training, but the return to health of both Shohei Ohtani and Griffin Canning (elbow) seemingly put a damper on those hopes. However, the uncertain nature of the 2020 campaign magnifies the need for teams to have extra flexibility among their pitching staffs, and Andriese is a logical candidate for an open starting spot given his history as a starter in the majors. As it stands, the Angels are currently unsure when presumed starter Julio Teheran, who has yet to report to camp for undisclosed reasons, will be ready to resume baseball activities or whether he will be available to pitch at the start of the season.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Joins team Sunday
Chapman reported to Yankee Stadium for summer camp on Sunday, Marly Rivera of ESPN reports.
Chapman was not present at the stadium for the team's first official workout Saturday, though manager Aaron Boone clarified that his absence was simply a matter of not finishing intake protocol. The fireballer's arrival Sunday suggests that he is healthy and ready to resume preparation for the 2020 campaign.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Looks lighter in camp
Fulmer (elbow) appears to have lost some weight during his rehab from Tommy John surgery, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.
It's unclear exactly how much weight Fulmer shed, but onlookers at Detroit's summer camp noted that the 27-year-old appeared to be in good shape. "I just feel more efficient," Fulmer said. "I feel like I'm using my body in better ways, putting less stress on the elbow and less stress on the knee, just to be more efficient and not be as violent. Putting my body in the best position." Physical conditioning will be critical for Fulmer, who last pitched in the majors in 2018. The Tigers have said the righty is ready to go, but they figure to carefully monitor his innings and could have him pitch out of the bullpen to start the season to reduce his workload.

Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Red Sox's Collin McHugh: Throws side session
McHugh (elbow) threw a side session Saturday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
The Red Sox are unsure if McHugh will be ready to start the regular season due to a flexor strain. "Talking to [pitching coach] Dave Bush about him, he let it go like every few pitches," manager Ron Roenicke said. "But he didn't every pitch. He looked good. I thought the ball was coming out nice and clean, I thought the effort level was good." With both the pitcher and coaches pleased with how the session went, McHugh will be monitored Sunday to see how the elbow responds.

Chris Devenski RP | NYM
Astros' Chris Devenski: Logs two sim innings
Devenski threw two innings in a simulated game Saturday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Devenski could have a similar multi-inning role as he did in 2017, when he was named an All-Star. Starting pitchers are not expected to pitch deep into games at the start of the season, so there may be a need for multi-inning performances from the bullpen. Additionally, the low inventory of games -- 60 instead of 162 -- may prompt managers to manage games as they might during a playoff series. That means giving starters who don't have their best stuff a quick hook in a given game.
