Peters cleared waivers Friday and was outrighted to the minors.

Peters will still be in big-league camp but will now be there as a non-roster invitee, presumably making it tougher for him to win a roster spot. The lefty hasn't done much in 132.2 career innings at the highest level, struggling to a 5.83 ERA while striking out just 16.7 percent of opposing batters.

Kolarek was traded along with Cody Thomas from the Dodgers to the Athletics on Friday in a deal that sent Sheldon Neuse and Gus Varland the other way, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Kolarek was a late bloomer, but he's been a useful left-handed reliever in his four-year major-league career, posting a 3.32 ERA in 116.2 innings despite striking out just 16.8 percent of opposing batters. He recorded a stellar 0.95 ERA in 19.0 innings last season, though a .185 BABIP and a 95.6 percent strand rate suggest he got quite lucky. He'll be one of the top southpaws in Oakland's 'pen this season and could even find his way into a few saves should the team adopt a committee approach, though Jake Diekman is probably the top option when lefties are due up in the ninth inning for the opposition.

Payano signed a minor-league deal with the Tigers on Friday.

The 26-yeat-old spent a chunk of 2020 at the Mets' alternate training site but was released in early September without making a big-league appearance. Payano made his major-league debut with the Rangers in 2019 and had a 5.73 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 17:15 K:BB across 22 innings.

Yang reached an agreement with the Rangers on Friday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The deal has yet to be officially announced, but it's expected to be a minor-league one which includes an invitation to big-league camp. Yang has had some dominant seasons in the past, including one as recently as 2019, when he finished third in the voting for KBO MVP on the back of a 2.29 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. Last year was not one such season, however, as he started terribly and finished with a 4.70 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. Heading into his age-33 season, another step backwards seems more likely than a significant rebound, but he'll at least get the chance to chase his MLB dream on a roster with relatively light competition for jobs. He's unlikely to have much fantasy relevance unless he wins a rotation spot, however, and even then will likely be uninteresting outside of deeper leagues.

Giles (elbow) agreed to a multi-year deal with the Mariners on Thursday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Giles underwent Tommy John surgery in October, so he isn't likely to make a big impact in the 2021 campaign. In his last full healthy season in 2019, Giles was dominant with the Blue Jays by racking up 23 saves to go along with 83 strikeouts across 53 innings. While he could eventually factor into the saves picture for the Mariners in 2022, he will be 31 years old and coming off major arm surgery.

Sadzeck signed with the White Sox as a non-roster invitee Thursday.

The 29-year-old righty owns a strong 2.18 ERA in 33 career innings at the highest level, though that's not backed up by his poor combination of a 22.4 percent strikeout rate and 17.1 percent walk rate. He missed most of 2019 with elbow troubles and didn't make the Mariners' 40-man roster at any point last season, so his chances of cracking the White Sox's Opening Day roster appear to be slim.

Payamps was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

The 26-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Diamondbacks in November, and he'll now be joining the Blue Jays after being DFA'd by the Red Sox last week. Payamps appeared in two games in each of the past two seasons for Arizona and allowed three runs on six hits with a 5:6 K:BB over seven innings.

Carasiti (elbow) has signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox as a non-roster invitee, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Carasiti was released by the Giants after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March, but he'll be invited to spring training by the Red Sox. The right-hander may not be ready for game action until after the regular season begins, but he could attempt to carve out a role with his new team. Carasiti last appeared in the majors with Seattle in 2019, posting a 4.66 ERA and 1.66 WHIP over 9.2 innings.

Heller (biceps) was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Wednesday.

Heller avoided arbitration with the Yankees earlier in the offseason when he signed a one-year deal with the team, but he'll now be removed from the 40-man roster after New York signed right-hander Darren O'Day in a corresponding move. Heller has pitched well over a limited sample across the past three seasons, making 21 relief appearances while posting a 1.48 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over 24.1 innings. He could still compete for a major-league roster spot heading into the 2021 season.

Krehbiel agreed Wednesday with the Rays on a minor-league contract that includes an invitation to big-league spring training, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Aside from a brief cup of coffee in the majors with the Diamondbacks in 2018, Krehbiel has spent much of the last five seasons in the upper levels of the minors. The right-hander most recently saw action with Arizona's Triple-A affiliate in Reno in 2019, compiling a 7.69 ERA over 51 relief appearances. Though he'll get a chance to compete for spot in Tampa Bay's Opening Day bullpen, Krehbiel is most likely bound for Triple-A Durham to begin 2021.
