Hernandez was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday.

Hernandez was promoted to the big-league club Friday and allowed three runs (two earned) over 4.1 innings of long relief during Saturday's contest. Edward Olivares was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Nelson was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.

The 25-year-old didn't make an appearance while serving as the 27th man for Thursday's doubleheader, and he'll now rejoin the major-league roster. Nelson has given up nine runs on 11 hits with a 15:5 K:BB across 8.1 innings this season.

Fleming is scheduled to serve as the Rays' bulk reliever Sunday against the Phillies when he enters the contest behind opener Collin McHugh, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Tampa Bay will presumably turn McHugh loose for 2-to-3 innings before giving way to Fleming, who is following an opener for his second turn through the rotation in a a row. Fleming has fared better as a traditional starter than a bulk reliever through four outings apiece in each role; he's posted a 1.69 ERA in 21.1 innings as a starter compared to a 4.19 ERA in 19.1 innings as a primary pitcher out of the bullpen.

McHugh is scheduled to serve as the Rays' opening pitcher for Sunday's game against the Phillies, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

McHugh has maxed out at three innings and 45 pitches this season, so that should represent the upper bounds of his workload Sunday before he gives way to Josh Fleming, who is expected to serve as a bulk reliever for Tampa Bay. After a rocky April, McHugh has developed into a trusted multi-inning weapon for the Rays over the past month. Through seven outings in May spanning 10.1 frames, McHugh has posted an 0.87 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB.

Pressly blew the save against San Diego on Saturday, pitching 1.1 innings and allowing three runs on two hits and a walk while striking out two.

The right-hander was summoned with two outs in the eighth inning and succeeded in squashing a San Diego rally, but he was less effective in the ninth. With Houston up by three runs, Pressly issued a two-out walk, then gave up a double before serving up a game-tying three-run shot to Fernando Tatis Jr. The blown save and home run were both firsts this season for Pressly, who has pitched well overall. He's secured seven saves while registering a 2.35 ERA across 21 outings.

Montero posted the save in a 3-2 win Saturday, getting one strikeout while allowing one run on two hits against the Rangers.

Montero entered the ninth with a two-run lead and allowed one run to score before inducing a Brock Holt fly out with Joey Gallo on third to end the game. Montero leads the M's in saves despite a 5.01 ERA, but Kendall Graveman (COVID-19) was the preferred option in the ninth before he landed on the IL, and relievers like Erik Swanson (groin) and Keynan Middleton have also picked up saves in the last week.

Hernandez allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts in 4.1 innings versus Minnesota on Saturday.

The right-hander worked behind starter Ervin Santana, who gave up three runs in three innings. Hernandez is expected to work in a long-relief role in his second stint in the majors this year, although he stretched out as a starter with Triple-A Omaha prior to his call-up. It's unclear if the 24-year-old will have a chance to earn a spot in the rotation while Danny Duffy (forearm) is out. Hernandez has a 7.04 ERA, 2.35 WHIP and 11:8 K:BB across 7.2 innings this season.

Sulser logged a perfect inning with two strikeouts in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.

Sulser has kept runs off the board in his last six outings, allowing only two hits and four walks in six innings in that span. The right-hander has been effective in a low-leverage role this year. He's posted a 1.89 ERA, .095 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB in 19 innings overall. Sulser also has a win and a hold, but he hasn't been considered for the few save chances the last-place Orioles have produced -- Cesar Valdez has often worked as the closer this year.

Rogers recorded the save Saturday against the Royals despite allowing two runs on two hits with two strikeouts and zero walks during the ninth inning.

The 30-year-old thankfully entered with a 6-3 lead, as Adalberto Mondesi took him deep on a two-run shot to pull Kansas City within a single run. The left-hander was able to finish off the save, and it was the first time since May 13 he surrendered an earned run. Hansel Robles has picked up three saves over the past couple weeks, and he also gave up a run Saturday while notching a hold. Rogers and Robles appear to be splitting the closer's role, though neither likely has a firm grip.

Hendriks earned the save while striking out the side in the seventh inning in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

After recording the save in Game 1, Hendriks repeated the effort in Game 2 to earn two saves in one day. The 32-year-old struck out five of the six batters he faced between the two games. He has a 2.14 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in 21 innings.
