Iglesias earned the save over Seattle on Friday, pitching two perfect innings and striking out four.

Iglesias came on in a pressure situation in the eighth inning, taking over with the bases loaded and nobody out in a one-run game. He retired the next three batters on a foulout and two strikeouts to preserve Los Angeles' lead, then hurled a 1-2-3 ninth inning to close out the win. After a rough start to the season, Iglesias has converted eight straight save chances. Since April 25, he has posted a 2.25 ERA and 23:2 K:BB across 16 innings.

Scott struck out the side in the eighth inning of Friday's 3-1 win over Cleveland to earn a hold.

The southpaw efficiently needed just 10 pitches, six of which were swinging strikes. Scott has strung together five scoreless innings in his last six appearances. The reliever has a 3.09 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 34:19 K:BB with 11 holds and a 2-3 record through 23.1 innings. While he's not in the mix for closing duties, he continues to see high-leverage work.

Harvey (oblique) have up a run on two hits and struck out one in one inning versus Cleveland on Friday.

Harvey missed the first two months of the season with a strained left oblique. The right-hander pitched the sixth inning Friday -- that's a strong indication manager Brandon Hyde will ease him into action. Harvey could eventually figure in the closer conversation if neither of Paul Fry nor Cesar Valdez can stake a firm claim on the role.

King (0-3) allowed four runs on six hits and no walks while striking out five in 5.1 innings to take the loss against the Red Sox on Friday.

King made his second consecutive start Friday and retired two of the first three batters he faced, but he gave up a three-run homer in the top of the first inning to put him in line for his third loss of the season. The right-hander has now posted a 3.62 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 27.1 innings across nine appearances (two starts) this year. He tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Minnesota on Thursday.

Barnes struck out three in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save against the Yankees on Friday.

Barnes was called on to preserve a three-run lead in the ninth inning Friday, and he was dominant to pick up his 13th save of the year. The right-hander has converted on each of his four save chances across his last five appearances, and he's allowed just one run with nine strikeouts in 4.2 innings during that time.

Fulmer was unavailable for Friday's game against the White Sox due to fatigue, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

The Tigers were in a tie game against the White Sox in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday, but manager A.J. Hinch revealed after the contest that Fulmer was dealing with fatigue and wasn't available. It's not yet clear whether the right-hander will be available out of the bullpen Saturday.

Sulser (2-0) allowed one hit and no walks while striking out one in a scoreless seventh inning to earn the win against Cleveland on Friday.

Sulser earned his first save of the season in his last outing, and he was able to pick up his second win of the year Friday. The right-hander was used in a save situation Tuesday, and he's part of a late-inning mix that includes Cesar Valdez, Cole Sulser and Paul Fry, who picked up the save Friday.

Akin allowed three hits and one walk while striking out four in five scoreless innings in Friday's win over Cleveland. He didn't factor into the decision.

Akin was dominant in his second consecutive start, but he didn't get any run support from the Orioles early in Friday's contest. The southpaw has allowed just one run in 9.2 innings across his last two starts, but he's had to settle for no-decisions in each appearance. If Akin gets another turn through the rotation, he tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Tampa Bay on June 11.

Nelson was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday.

Nelson was recalled by the Yankees on Sunday, and he made two relief appearances during his stint with the major-league club. He allowed four runs on three hits and four walks while striking out five in 3.2 innings. The right-hander could return to the big-league bullpen as a low-leverage relief option at some point this year.

Shaw (1-1) allowed two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out one in one inning to take the loss against the Orioles on Friday.

Shaw had tossed 9.1 scoreless innings across his last 11 relief appearances, but he was slightly less effective Friday and was charged with his first loss of the season. The right-hander has now posted a 1.99 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 22.2 innings across 24 appearances in 2021.
