Green (3-5) allowed four runs on four hits and took a loss against the Astros on Sunday. He recorded just one out.

Things unraveled quickly for the Yankees after entering the ninth inning with a 7-2 lead. Green allowed two inherited to runners to score and eventually served up a walkoff, three-run blast to Jose Altuve. His season ERA spiked to 2.89 through 46.2 innings. He had turned in 6.1 straight scoreless innings prior to Sunday's outing. Between Green and Aroldis Chapman's recent struggles, the Yankees enter the All-Star break with some big question marks in the bullpen.

Pardinho (elbow) has made two appearances for the Blue Jays' rookie-level Florida Complex League club since being assigned to the affiliate June 28, covering three scoreless innings and striking out four.

Pardinho's 2021 debut was delayed while he worked through the final stages of his recovery from his February 2020 Tommy John surgery. Prior to sustaining the elbow injury, Pardinho had finished the 2019 campaign at Low-A Lansing, so it may not take long for him to earn a promotion to a full-season affiliate.

Romano allowed a run on two hits in one inning to earn the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over Tampa Bay.

Romano gave up a solo home run to Brandon Lowe in the ninth inning, but the right-hander was able to protect Toronto's lead after that. Through 32.2 innings, Romano is 7-for-8 in save chances while adding five holds, a 1.93 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 40:17 K:BB. He'll likely continue to see most of the save opportunities in the second half of the season.

Cleveland plans to call up Mejia from Triple-A Columbus to start its fourth game of the second half July 19 in Houston, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Mejia was sent back to Columbus following his start Wednesday in Tampa Bay, but that was mostly for roster-management purposes, as the young right-hander wouldn't have had sufficient rest to contribute out of the bullpen before the end of Cleveland's first-half schedule. He'll end up settling back into the rotation coming out of the All-Star break, with he and Triston McKenzie getting the nods for the final two starting spots over Sam Hentges.

Hernandez's scheduled start will not occur after Sunday's game in Cleveland was postponed.

The righty's first start of 2021 will have to wait until after the All-Stat break, if it happens at all. As a reliever, Hernandez has pitched to a 4.98 ERA and 30:15 K:BB in 21.2 innings. In his most recent appearance July 6, he allowed one run in 3.2 innings while striking out six batters.

Harvey (lat) will begin rehabbing in Sarasota immediately after the All-Star break, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

Harvey has been sidelined since early July and was expected to miss a month. The team is hopeful to have him return by the end of July, so he remains in line with his original timetable. Prior to the injury, Harvey had managed a 4.15 ERA and 1.27 WHIP while recording two holds across 8.2 innings for the Orioles.

Akin allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six in 4.1 innings during Saturday's loss to the White Sox.

After his expected appearance Thursday was rained out, Akin became available out of the bullpen leading into the All-Star break. The southpaw was called upon after starter Tom Eshelman ran into trouble in the third inning Saturday. Akin then allowed a pair of runs in both the fifth and seventh innings, resulting in a so-so performance. Through 45.1 innings this year, the 26-year-old has a 7.54 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 44:17 K:BB. He may start the second half in the rotation, but he's hardly been successful as either a starter or bulk reliever this year.

Morgan will no longer start Sunday against the Royals with the game being postponed due to inclement weather, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Morgan was looking to bounce back from taking a loss in his start last weekend, but the right-hander will have to wait until after the All-Star break to get back on the mound. Sunday's game has been rescheduled as part of what is now a doubleheader Sept. 20.

Taylor allowed four runs on two hits, one walk and a hit batsman over a third of an inning in Saturday's 11-2 loss to the Phillies.

Taylor entered with a man on first and two outs in the seventh inning and got out without throwing a pitch, picking off Jean Segura. All the trouble began in the eighth, and he was gone after 13 pitches. Taylor was on the bench when three of the four runs came home while Brandon Workman pitched. Taylor had not allowed a run since April 24, a span of 26 consecutive scoreless appearances.

Seattle manager Scott Servais said Santiago will start Sunday's game against the Angels, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

With Justus Sheffield (forearm) and Justin Dunn (shoulder) recently joining James Paxton (elbow), Nick Margevicius (shoulder) and Ljay Newsome (elbow) on the injured list, the Mariners have been forced to shorten their rotation from six to five men. Santiago will pick up his first start of the season as a replacement for Sheffield, and the veteran southpaw should have a decent amount of leash, despite working out of the bullpen all season. He most recently tossed a season-high 76 pitches in a long-relief Tuesday against the Yankees, giving up three runs on seven hits and two walks over 3.1 innings.
