Swanson (3-2) earned the victory over the Tigers on Wednesday, firing a perfect ninth inning during which he recorded two strikeouts.

The right-hander put a fitting cap on a highly impressive regular season with a crisp 12-pitch frame during which he got nine of his offerings in for strikes. Swanson logged a career-high 57 appearances in 2022, adding three saves and 14 holds alongside his three wins. Additionally, the 29-year-old mustered a career-best 1.68 ERA and 0.91 WHIP, while his strikeout rate shot up to a blistering 34.0 percent after previously having topped out at 24.3 percent in 2021. Swanson should continue to play a key setup role during the Mariners' postseason run.

Baker struck out two without allowing a baserunner to earn the save in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays.

Baker was called upon to protect a one-run lead and he had little trouble doing so to record the first save of his career. He concluded the 2022 season with 11 straight scoreless appearances, during which he maintained a 13:3 K:BB across 12.1 frames. It was Baker's first full season in the majors, and he was a solid contributor out of Baltimore's bullpen by posting a 3.49 ERA while also tallying nine holds.

Baumann allowed four earned runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out four across 5.1 innings in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

Baumann allowed three hits and a run in the second inning, but the majority of the damage against him came on a three-run homer by Gabriel Moreno in the sixth frame. The start did mark Baumann's longest outing of the season, as he pitched primarily out of the bullpen. Across 34.1 innings with Baltimore this season, Baumann maintained a 4.72 ERA with a 23:9 K:BB.

Snead threw 1.1 scoreless innings without allowing a baserunner to earn the save Wednesday against the Angels.

Snead entered the game with a one-run lead and successfully maintained the advantage to tally his first career save. Despite the positive close to the campaign, Snead maintained only a 5.84 ERA with a 35:22 K:BB across 44.2 innings. He is very unlikely to see regular save chances in 2023.

Pressly picked up the save against the Phillies on Wednesday, striking out two over one inning.

Pressly relieved Rafael Montero to start the ninth inning and went 1-2-3 through the Phillies lineup to complete the save. The Houston closer finished the game with back-to-back swinging strikeouts of Alec Bohm and Matt Vierling, though it did take him 16 pitches to get through the inning. Pressly finishes the regular season having converted his last 12 save opportunities, with his last blown save coming back on July 30. He had 29 strikeouts to only four walks over that stretch.

Barnes pitched a perfect ninth inning on his way to a save in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Rays.

Barnes was called upon to protect a 6-3 lead in the top of the ninth inning, setting the Rays down in order for a save, his eighth of the campaign and third in his last three appearances. The right-hander will finish the 2022 season with a 4.31 ERA and 1.44 WHIP while striking out 34 batters, and he went 8-for-10 in save chances over 39.2 innings in 44 appearances out of Boston's bullpen.

Pivetta pitched four innings, giving up two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five batters in Wednesday's win over the Rays. He did not factor into the decision.

Pivetta tossed two scoreless innings to open Wednesday's outing before he surrendered a two-run homer to Ji-Man Choi in the third frame. The long ball accounted for all the damage on the the right-hander's line, though he allowed seven batters to reach base. Pivetta limped to the finish of the 2022 campaign, producing a 6.29 ERA and 1.77 WHIP over his final five outings. He finished with a 4.56 ERA and 1.38 WHIP while striking out 175 batters over 179.2 innings in 33 starts this season.

Fleming (2-5) was tagged with the loss after he pitched 4.2 innings, giving up four runs on eight hits while striking out four in Wednesday's loss to the Red Sox.

Fleming struggled to keep the Red Sox of the basepaths Wednesday, surrendering eight hits, including two home runs, most notably a three-run shot by J.D. Martinez in the opening frame. It was the left-hander's first outing in the majors since Sept. 14 and his third start on the campaign overall. Over three appearances against the Red Sox in 2022, Fleming gave up 11 runs over 12.2 frames while striking out 11 batters. The 26-year-old will finish the regular season having posted a 6.43 ERA and 1.89 WHIP with 29 punchouts over 35 innings across 10 appearances, including three starts, with the Rays.

Moore earned a save after he tossed a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one walk while striking out a batter in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Yankees.

Tasked with protecting a 4-2 lead in the top of the ninth, Moore worked around a one-out walk and pitched a scoreless frame, notching a save. The save was his sixth of the year and second in as many days. Moore will finish the 2022 campaign with a 1.95 ERA and 1.18 WHIP while striking out 83 batters over 74 innings in 63 appearances with the Rangers.

Otto (7-10) got the win after he pitched six innings, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five in Wednesday's season finale versus the Yankees.

Otto kept the Yankees in check Wednesday, limiting them to six total baserunners while notching his second straight quality start. He gave up one run in the second inning before Jose Trevino launched a solo homer in the fourth frame, accounting for the final run on his line. Otto will finish the campaign with a 4.64 ERA and 1.33 WHIP while striking out 107 batters over 135.2 innings in 27 starts with the Rangers.
