De Los Santos (4-1) pitched a perfect inning to earn the extra-inning win over Atlanta on Tuesday.

De Los Santos worked the 10th inning and got some help on an outfield assist from Myles Straw to nab the potential go-ahead runner at the plate on a double play. David Fry then walked it off in the bottom of the 10th. De Los Santos has allowed just two hits while striking out five over his seven-inning scoreless streak. For the season, he's at a 2.57 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 31:13 K:BB while adding six holds and a blown save over 35 innings. He's not firmly in the high-leverage mix, but he's pitched well enough to be trusted to protect leads.

Clase allowed a run on one hit and struck out one in one inning, taking a blown save in Tuesday's extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Clase was dominant for much of the first three months of the campaign, but he's now given up seven runs (six earned) over 2.1 innings across his last three appearances. Ozzie Albies tagged him for a solo home run in the ninth inning Tuesday, though Cleveland ultimately won in the 10th. Clase now has a 3.54 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 37:11 K:BB through 40.2 innings, and he's 24-for-31 in save chances this season. He had just nine blown saves combined over the previous two years, but he's taken a step back in 2023.

May picked up the save in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Detroit. He allowed no hits and one walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning.

Oakland broke a scoreless tie in the top of the 10th inning, and May worked around the designated runner and a two-out walk in the bottom of the frame for his sixth save of the year. The right-hander gave up eight earned runs over his first eight outings of the season before he landed on the injured list in mid-April for anxiety issues, but since rejoining the active roster May 23, he has a 2.70 ERA with six saves in 17 appearances.

The Tigers optioned Hill to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Hill will return to the minors to make room for Eduardo Rodriguez (finger), who will return from the injured list and start Wednesday. Hill made one appearance after getting called up June 28, allowing four earned runs across two innings, and he holds a 9.88 ERA and 2.20 WHIP through 13.2 frames.

The Tigers sent Misiewicz outright to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Misiewicz was DFA'd by Detroit on Thursday, and he'll officially remain within the Tigers' farm system after clearing waivers. The 28-year-old southpaw holds a 4.70 ERA and 1.50 WHIP through 15.1 frames in Triple-A and will most likely remain in the minors for the rest of the season.

Crochet (shoulder) will pitch multiple innings during his next rehab appearance with Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Manager Pedro Grifol said the White Sox will need multi-inning contributions from Crochet once the 24-year-old lefty returns from the injured list, so Thursday's outing will help get Crochet prepared for his new role. Crochet pitched just two-thirds of an inning in his first rehab appearance and has thrown two full innings once in the majors this season.

Hendriks (elbow) will throw a bullpen session this weekend, Scot Gregor of the Chicago Daily Herald reports.

Hendriks began playing catch a little less than a week ago and now is nearly ready to test things out from the bump. He's been sidelined since early June with right elbow inflammation. It's not clear whether Hendriks will require a rehab assignment before rejoining the White Sox' bullpen, although it seems likely.

Alexander was placed on the 60-day injured list Tuesday with a left lat strain.

Alexander evidently suffered the injury during an appearance Sunday against the Rockies and he'll now be sidelined into September. He's expected to miss the remainder of the season, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News. It's a blow to the Tigers' relief corps, as Alexander has pitched well with a 44:5 K:BB over 44 innings.

The Angels recalled Reyes from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Reyes, 30, owns a career 7.45 ERA in 29 major-league innings, but he has missed a lot of bats this season at the Triple-A level and can fill a low-leverage bullpen role.

The Angels optioned Mederos to Double-A Rocket City on Tuesday.

Mederos surrendered three earned runs in two innings (two appearances) during his brief stay in the Angels' bullpen. The 22-year-old has posted a 5.98 ERA and 71:25 K:BB in 55.2 innings (12 starts) this season at the Double-A level.
