He is hitting .320 with three home runs in 25 at-bats this month, but surprisingly has not attempted a stolen base over those eight games. LaMonte Wade will start in center field and hit seventh.

Rooker was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a fractured right forearm.
This was inevitable after Rooker was hit by a pitch that broke his right forearm Saturday. He should be fully recovered for spring training 2021. Max Kepler (groin) was activated in a corresponding move.

Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Playing in sim game
Stanton (hamstring) will get two or three at-bats in during a simulated game Sunday at the alternate training site, Max Goodman of Sports Illustrated reports.
If all goes well, he will do the same Monday as he tracks toward an activation sometime next week. Aaron Judge is also close to joining Stanton and Gio Urshela at the alternate site, so the Yankees could be getting three key bats back sometime next week.

Rays' Ji-Man Choi: Out 2-3 weeks
Choi was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Manager Kevin Cash said it will be a 2-to-3 week absence for Choi, which likely means the end of his regular season. Nate Lowe looks like the obvious replacement at first base for the remainder of the campaign, with Mike Brosseau also getting starts against lefties.

Reds' Jesse Winker: Remains out Sunday
Winker (back) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Winker will be sidelined for the third straight contest as he continues to deal with back tightness. Joey Votto will serve as the designated hitter while Mike Moustakas starts at first base Sunday.

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Turns in three-hit day
Harper went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two walks, an RBI and three runs scored Saturday as he helped the Phillies to a 12-6 win over the Marlins.
The 27-year-old reached base five times in the victory. His night was highlighted by a leadoff solo home run to the opposite field in the third inning to extend Philadelphia's lead to 5-0. Harper is hitting .263 this season with eight home runs and 22 RBI but also has a .425 on-base percentage, which is on track to be his highest mark since his MVP season in 2015.

Jimenez went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, one run scored and one RBI on Saturday against the Tigers.
Jimenez tallied three of Chicago's 19 hits in an offensive barrage Saturday. He doubled in a run in the opening inning and came around to score after reaching base on a single two frames later. Jimenez has hit four doubles and one home run during his modest five-game hitting streak. Overall, he's hitting .296/.333/.574 with 12 home runs, 23 runs scored and 34 RBI across 180 plate appearances.

Buxton went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against Cleveland on Saturday.
Buxton took Zach Plesac deep in the fourth inning for his eighth home run of the season. The performance continued his recent power surge, as Buxton now has three long balls in his past four starts, including a pair in the team's weekend series against Cleveland. Despite rarely drawing a walk, Buxton has put together a decent .247/.250/.527 line to go along with 13 runs scored and 19 RBI across 96 plate appearances this season.

Miller went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Reds.
Miller took Reds starter Tejay Antone deep to center field in the fourth inning, which tied the game at one. That was Miller's sixth homer of the season, to go with a stolen base, 22 RBI and 17 runs scored in 30 games. He's gone just 6-for-32 (.188) with a pair of homers, four RBI and five runs scored in his last 10 contests.
