  • Kyle Lewis DH | ARI

Mariners' Kyle Lewis: Crucial home run extends lead

Lewis went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run as Seattle beat Baltimore 5-2 Tuesday.

Lewis' eighth-inning home run gave Seattle a 5-1 advantage and proved crucial as Baltimore tacked on a run in the top of the ninth. The blast extended Lewis' hitting streak to six games, although he only has one hit in each game, and brought his average to just below the Mendoza Line at .196.

  • Brad Miller DH | SD

Phillies' Brad Miller: Swats three-run homer

Miller went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run Tuesday against the Brewers.

Miller made his lone hit of the contest count when he smacked a home run off southpaw Eric Lauer to right field. With the Phillies missing Jean Segura (quadriceps), Miller has gotten more regular playing time and now has three long balls on the season. However, Segura just began a rehab assignment, and his return will likely cut significantly into Miller's presence in the lineup moving forward.

  • Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Flexes muscles in Tuesday's win

Stanton went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Astros.

He crushed a Zack Greinke offering to left field in the first inning to give the Yankees a 2-1 lead, Stanton's seventh homer of the year, then added an RBI single in the sixth to cap the team's scoring on the night. The 31-year-old slugger extended his hitting streak to 10 games with the performance, and over that stretch he's hitting a massive .477 (21-for-44) with four home runs, six RBI and nine runs scored.

  • Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Two solo homers

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs Tuesday against the Brewers.

McCutchen got the Phillies on the board quickly, hitting a leadoff home run in the first inning. He followed that up two frames later with his second long ball of the game and fourth of the season. Though he started the season slowly, McCutchen has now gone yard three times in his last three games and has improved his season-long line to a still subpar .191/.311/.360 across 106 plate appearances.

  • Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Delivers walkoff homer

Blackmon went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Giants.

Blackmon cranked a three-run, two-out long ball against Camilo Doval to complete the Rockies' comeback from a four-run deficit in the seventh inning. It was a reassuring sight, considering the 34-year-old's slow start at the plate this season, including an 0-for-4 showing in the first game of the doubleheader. Through 27 games, he's batting just .191/.308/.326 with a pair of home runs.

  • Astros' Michael Brantley: Swats third homer

Brantley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Yankees.

His shot off Domingo German helped the Astros tie the game at 3-3 in the fourth inning, but the team's offense went cold the rest of the way. Brantley hadn't gone yard since April 12, but he was hardly unproductive during his 17-game homerless drought. On the season, he's hitting .327 with three home runs, seven RBI and 18 runs in 25 contests.

  • Brandon Belt DH | TOR

Giants' Brandon Belt: Collects seven RBI in twin bill

Belt went 4-for-7 with two home runs, two walks, seven RBI and three runs scored during Tuesday's doubleheader at Colorado.

The 33-year-old started off strong with an RBI single and a grand slam in a 10-run first inning during the matinee, and he added a two-run shot in the opening frame of the nightcap. Belt was 4-for-26 with 13 strikeouts over his previous seven games, but he busted out of the slump in an enormous way during Tuesday's twin bill.

  • Byron Buxton CF | MIN

Twins' Byron Buxton: Launches two-run shot

Buxton went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Buxton was responsible for two of the team's three runs via his ninth homer of the season, which came on his first at-bat against Kyle Gibson, who would end up pitching eight strong innings. The center fielder has been nothing short of stellar to begin the season, making an early MVP case with strong numbers across the board -- he has nine homers, 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and four stolen bases while hitting .386 with an impressive 1.246 OPS.

  • Alex Dickerson DH | ATL

Giants' Alex Dickerson: Battling sore shoulder

Dickerson was removed from Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies and isn't starting Game 2, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The 30-year-old went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored before exiting the matinee. Dickerson should be considered day-to-day, while Mike Tauchman, Steven Duggar and Austin Slater started from left to right in the outfield for the nightcap.

  • Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD

Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Set to pitch Wednesday

Ohtani (elbow) is scheduled is scheduled to be the Angels' starting pitcher Wednesday against the Rays, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The 26-year-old previously line up to start Monday but was pushed back after being hit by a pitch on his right elbow, so he'll end up taking the mound only two days later. Ohtani is serving as the designated hitter Tuesday and could do so again Wednesday despite being the starter pitcher.
