Blackmon is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Angels, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Blackmon started the past 13 games and will receive a day off with lefty Andrew Heaney pitching for the Angels. The veteran outfielder has found an offensive rhythm since the All-Star break, going 15-for-40 with two home runs, two doubles, seven RBI, seven runs and two stolen bases in 10 games. Sam Hilliard will start in right field in his place.

Choi is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Choi will take a seat after he went 6-for-16 with a pair of home runs, two doubles and six RBI while starting at first base in each of the past four games. He'll cede first base to Yandy Diaz with a lefty (Nestor Cortes) on the hill for the Yankees, but the lefty-hitting Choi should remain a fixture in the lineup against right-handed pitching.

Pederson (illness) is starting Wednesday against the Mets.

Pederson was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to an upset stomach, but he'll return to action following a one-game absence. Across his last four starts, he's gone 7-for-17 with a home run, a double, five RBI, three runs and five strikeouts.

Brantley isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Brantley will get a rare day off after he went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in Tuesday's win over Seattle. Chas McCormick will start in left field and bat seventh.

Torrens is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.

With Tom Murphy getting the nod behind the plate, Mitch Haniger serving as the Mariners' designated hitter and Ty France starting at first base, Torrens will take a seat for the first time since July 20 with all three of his avenues to playing time being blocked for the afternoon. During his streak of seven consecutive starts, Torrens went 5-for-25 with a pair of home runs and three RBI. He still looks to have a steady hold on a near-everyday role, though he could be at risk of losing out on some work with the recent addition of Abraham Toro.

Harper went 3-for-5 with a solo, inside-the-park home run and an RBI double during Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Nationals.

Harper delivered the run-scoring double during the first inning, and he also hit an inside-the-park home run during the fifth when his shot to center field caromed off the top of the wall. It's the outfielder's seventh three-hit performance of the year and first of the second half. He's hitting .295/.399/.533 with 16 home runs, 20 doubles, 37 RBI, 54 runs and 12 stolen bases through 79 games.

Rooker went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored Tuesday in the Twins' 6-5 loss to the Tigers in 11 innings.

Rooker picked up his fifth straight start Tuesday and gave the Twins little reason to take him out of the lineup; he's now posted a 1.118 OPS since stepping into an everyday role following the trade of Nelson Cruz to Tampa Bay. The 26-year-old will stick in the starting nine for Wednesday's series finale, manning left field and batting second.

Cabrera isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Twins.

Cabrera had recorded extra-base hits in each of the last two games, and he went 3-for-8 with a homer, a double, three RBI, two runs and a walk. Eric Haase will serve as the designated hitter while Grayson Greiner starts behind the plate.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Rockies.

The slugger had only one hit in the contest, but he still managed to drop jaws with his 463-foot solo blast to center field in the fifth inning. The long ball was Ohtani's major-league-leading 36th of the campaign. Per Megan Garcia of MLB.com, Ohtani also leads the league with six homers of over 450 feet on the season.

Alvarez went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run in an 8-6 win against the Mariners on Tuesday.

Alvarez connected on a 423-foot homer to right in the first to open the game's scoring, singled and scored in the fifth and singled in the sixth for his first three-hit game since June 18. The designated hitter has been hot of late, going 6-for-14 with three walks over his last four games.
