  • Justin Turner DH | CHC

Red Sox's Justin Turner: Back in Boston's lineup

Turner (knee) is back in the Red Sox' lineup for Monday's game versus the Angels, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Turner exited Friday's game with left knee soreness and sat out the following two contests, but he's made the necessary improvement to give it a go Monday. He'll be the club's designated hitter and bat third against the Halos.

  • Byron Buxton DH | MIN

Twins' Byron Buxton: Returns to lineup Monday

Buxton (knee) is back in the Twins' lineup for Monday's game against the Giants, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Buxton exited Saturday's game versus the Angels and sat out Sunday with some tightness around his right knee, but he apparently has checked out fine and is back in the lineup Monday. He will be the Twins' designated hitter and cleanup man.

  • Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR

White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Closing in on rehab assignment

Jimenez (abdomen) is getting close to going out on a rehab assignment, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Jimenez underwent an emergency appendectomy May 6 but has been working out lately without issue and his clearance for game action appears imminent. The slugger had stated previously that he hopes to be activated by the end of this week, and it would seem he has a shot to meet that goal.

  • Brandon Belt DH | TOR

Blue Jays' Brandon Belt: Sitting Monday

Belt is not in the starting lineup Monday against the Rays.

Belt will get a breather after he went 4-for-13 with two doubles, a run scored, six walks and six strikeouts while starting each of the last five contests. Danny Jansen will replace him at designated hitter and bat eighth in the series opener with Tampa Bay.

  • Harold Ramirez DH | WAS

Rays' Harold Ramirez: Taking seat Monday

Ramirez is absent from the Rays' lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Rays will use Josh Lowe in the designated hitter spot and Luke Raley in right field. Ramirez had started each of the last four contests.

  • Joey Meneses DH | NYM

Nationals' Joey Meneses: Three hits against Tigers

Meneses went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Tigers.

All three hits were singles, but it still extended a very productive stretch for Meneses. Over his last 20 games, the 31-year-old is slashing .349/.372/.446 with five doubles, a homer, 10 runs and 14 RBI.

  • Jorge Soler DH | LAA

Marlins' Jorge Soler: Powers offense in loss

Soler went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Giants.

Soler opened the scoring with a solo shot in the first inning, and he added RBI singles in the third and fifth. He had gone just 3-for-22 (.136) across his previous six games, though two of those hits were homers. The 31-year-old is up to a .247/.324/.518 slash line with 12 homers, 27 RBI, 24 runs scored and nine doubles through 45 contests this season. He needs just one more long ball to match his total from 2022.

  • Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD

Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Punches out nine

Ohtani allowed one run on two hits and three walks over six innings during Sunday's win over Minnesota. He struck out nine and did not factor in the decision. At the plate, he went 1-for-3 with a walk.

After several rough starts, Ohtani was back to his usual self on the mound Sunday. He allowed one run in the third inning but otherwise faced little threat from the Twins. Ohtani ended his outing with four consecutive strikeouts and totaled 22 whiffs on 99 pitches. He'd allowed at least three runs in four straight outings entering Sunday but he still owns a strong 3.05 ERA for the year. His next start is currently projected to be at home against the Marlins.

  • Matt Carpenter DH | STL

Padres' Matt Carpenter: Goes deep in win

Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a homer, three RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's win against the Red Sox.

Carpenter drew a bases-loaded walk and later scored in the first inning. He then extended San Diego's lead with a two-run shot in the third. Carpenter had been stuck in an 8-for-45 (.178) skid over his previous 16 games since his last home run April 23. He's now slashing .211/.342/.422 through 111 plate appearances.

  • Cubs' Christopher Morel: Homers again

Morel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss against the Phillies.

Morel has hit safely in all 11 games since he was recalled from Triple-A. He's now 17-for-46 with eight home runs and a staggering 1.353 OPS with the Cubs this season. While his current pace isn't sustainable, Morel has certainly earned a regular role in Chicago and should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
