Soler isn't in Atlanta's lineup versus the Brewers on Tuesday.

Soler was acquired by Atlanta from the Giants on Monday but will not make his team debut Tuesday. It's expected that he will see action Wednesday for the series finale in Milwaukee. Ramon Laureano is starting in right field Tuesday and batting eighth.

Larnach is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Larnach will avoid a matchup with southpaw Sean Manaea on Tuesday. Larnach has now missed the starting nine in four consecutive games, three of which have come against lefties. Austin Martin will play left field in Larnach's place Tuesday.

Soler isn't expected to be active for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Atlanta acquired Soler and right-hander Luke Jackson from San Francisco on Monday in a deal sending lefty Tyler Matzek (elbow) and infielder Sabin Ceballos to San Francisco. While Soler and Jackson are expected to arrive in Milwaukee at some point Tuesday, neither player appears likely to join the club in time to be activated prior to first pitch. Both should be activated prior to the series finale against the Brewers on Wednesday. Soler is expected to see most of his playing time in right field in Atlanta after serving exclusively as a designated hitter for San Francisco in 2024.

The Reds designated Soto for assignment Tuesday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Soto was moved off the 40-man roster after the Reds acquired right-hander Jakob Junis and outfielder Joey Weimer from the Brewers while sending right-hander Frankie Montas to Milwaukee. The 24-year-old Soto had gone hitless in three plate appearances during his brief time with the Reds this season.

Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

He opened the scoring in the game by taking Colin Rea deep in the fourth inning. Ozuna has homered in three of the last four games, boosting his total on the season to 31. Over the last 15 games he's slashing a blistering .382/.452/.818 with eight home runs, 10 RBI and 13 runs.

Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers.

Carpenter has essentially been a bench bat throughout July, and with the Cardinals looking to buy ahead of the trade deadline, his role may be further reduced down the stretch. The 38-year-old is slashing just .255/.322/.377 with three homers, 11 RBI, 11 runs scored and four doubles across 118 plate appearances this season. Alec Burleson and Willson Contreras continue to see most of the playing time at designated hitter, and Carpenter's in no position to challenge Paul Goldschmidt for first base.

Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 8-3 loss to Milwaukee.

Ozuna has homered in three of the last four games, and he's hit 10 long balls over 23 contests in July. The designated hitter is up to 31 homers, 83 RBI, 66 runs scored, 20 doubles and a .306/.384/.596 slash line through 105 games this season. Atlanta's trade for Jorge Soler from San Francisco on Monday shouldn't have much of an effect on Ozuna, as Soler will likely be the one to pick up playing time in the outfield.

Yoshida went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, four RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 14-7 win over the Mariners.

Yoshida continued his hot stretch with another three hits on Monday and tying a season-high with four RBI. Over his last 20 games, Yoshida is hitting .347 with 20 RBI, and he's hit three of five home runs this season in that span. The 31-year-old has been playing regularly since returning from the injured list on June 11 and has settled into a key role in the middle of the Red Sox lineup.

Soler will head back to Atlanta, where he was a part of the team's postseason run and ultimate World Series championship in 2021 after being acquired at the trade deadline from Kansas City. The 32-year-old has produced a .240 batting average with 12 home runs, 40 RBI, 57 runs scored and one stolen base over 341 at-bats in 93 games with the Giants this season. Soler has also been running hot as of late, going 11-for-18 with a home run, five RBI and eight runs scored over his last five games. He's operated primarily as a designated hitter in 2024, but with Marcell Ozuna holding down that role in Atlanta, it's possible that Soler is asked to play some more in the corner outfield with his new club.

Ramirez will serve as the Nationals' designated hitter and No. 3 batter in Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Ramirez will draw his second consecutive start at designated hitter and should see an uptick in playing time after Jesse Winker was traded to the Mets on Saturday and Lane Thomas was shipped to the Guardians on Monday. Since signing with Washington in mid-June and getting called up to the big club, Ramirez is slashing .319/.333/.468 with one home run and 13 RBI in 16 games.
