Stanton went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, two RBI and three runs scored during Wednesday's win over the Rangers.

Stanton is in the midst of a power binge with 12 long balls, 20 RBI and 20 runs through his past 17 games. As a result, the slugger has grabbed the league lead in homers and is well on his way to a career-best showing across the board.

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, five RBI and four runs during Wednesday's win over Texas.

The huge showing has Ozuna up to a .315/.371/.557 slash line with 23 home runs, 77 RBI and 58 runs. He's locked into the heart of a capable lineup and in the midst of a career-best showing. It would be surprising to see a significant downturn in production going forward.

Martinez went 2-for-4 with a pair of homers, a walk and four RBI against the Braves on Wednesday.

Thanks to the quirky way the schedule has coincided with his trade out of Detroit, Martinez has faced the Braves in six of his last eight games -- and he's hit five homers off their pitching. Now that he's over the hand/wrist ailment that derailed his arrival in the desert, expect him to crush plenty more home runs in his new digs.

Buxton (head) has yet to be activated due to a migraine issue, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports Wednesday.

Buxton has been on the 10-day disabled list with a groin issue, but that's not what has been bothering the young outfielder for the past few days. Until the headaches clear up, expect Buxton to remain on the disabled list. The Twins have an off-day Thursday, so chances are he will only miss one or two more games at most.

Cespedes (leg) is in the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Padres, batting third and playing left field.

The slugging outfielder was removed from Tuesday's contest prematurely due to leg fatigue, but it appears that a night of sleep was enough to get him back and ready for game action. He'll resume his normal spot in the lineup, pushing Curtis Granderson back to the bench.

Lewis (knee) is back in the lineup for High-A Modesto on Wednesday.

Lewis exited Monday with knee soreness, but didn't suffer any structural damage and will be good to go for Wednesday's contest against San Jose. Following a return from knee surgery that he underwent in July of 2016, Lewis is hitting .368/.429/.842 with three home runs and seven RBI in six games for Modesto this season.

Cespedes was removed from Tuesday's game in the seventh inning due to leg fatigue, MLB.com reports.

He finished the game a double short of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI. Cespedes should be back in the lineup in short order, but the Mets have little reason to push the slugger given their place in the standings, so don't be surprised if he gets a day off Wednesday.

Cespedes was removed early from Tuesday's game against the Padres, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Cespedes tripled to deep right field and came home on a throwing error in the seventh inning but was subsequently removed from the game in between innings as part of a double switch. It's possible that he was not removed due to an injury, though it is a bit odd that the Mets would remove their best hitter in a two-run game. We'll find out more about the rationale for his removal following the conclusion of Tuesday's game.

Canha went 5-for-5 with four RBI from a solo home run and a three-run blast in Triple-A Nashville's win over Las Vegas on Tuesday. He also doubled and scored twice.

Canha's jaw-dropping performance was also a record-setting one as per Sounds play-by-play announcer Jeff Hem, who noted that the outfielder's five hits tied a Nashville single-game record. The 28-year-old hit just .234 last month after some extensive struggles with the Athletics prompted a demotion to Triple-A on June 9, but he boasts a .333 average with four homers and 17 RBI in 21 July contests.

Buxton (groin) has been bothered by migraine headaches recently, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Buxton's groin is reportedly feeling better, but he's not ready to rejoin the Twins due to the fact that he's been afflicted by migraine headaches over the past couple of days. Buxton could potentially return from the DL on Wednesday, but Zack Granite will continue to hold down center field in his absence.
