McCutchen will bat third and start in center field Tuesday for the time since injuring his knee Friday.

McCutchen went 1-for-3 as the Pirates' designated hitter Sunday in Toronto and said he could've played in the outfield. He's slashing .307/.368/.591 for his career at Miller Park and has hit more homers in Milwaukee (19) than any park aside from PNC Park. He's 4-for-10 with a home run and five RBI against Tuesday starter, Zach Davies.

Cabrera (back) is starting at first base and batting cleanup Tuesday against the Rangers.

Cabrera was initially expected to return to the lineup for Monday's series opener, but that ultimately changed after his back tightened up again in the morning. It was only a minor setback however, as the 34-year-old was tested (no MRI) before Tuesday's game and felt better, according to Chris McCosky of The Detroit News. Cabrera, who owns a disappointing .253/.337/.406 slash line with 13 homers in 101 games this season, will face A.J. Griffin in his return to the lineup.

Goins is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays.

Goins will head to the bench for a breather after starting six straight games at shortstop, slashing .190/.261/.286 over that span. Darwin Barney will start in his place, batting ninth.

Miller is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Miller has just one hit in his last 15 at-bats, so he'll head to the bench to gather himself after starting six straight games at the keystone. Daniel Robertson will take over for him at second base for the game, batting ninth.

Belt was transferred Monday from the 7-day disabled list to the 10-day disabled list, MLB.com reports.

The transaction is only a procedural move, as Belt had already missed more than a full week of action with the concussion. Belt has an extensive history of head injuries, so he'll remain away from the team for the time being and wait for the concussion symptoms to subside before starting up baseball activities again. In the meantime, Ryder Jones and Buster Posey will pick up the bulk of the starts at first base.

Jimenez was promoted from High-A Winston-Salem to Double-A Birmingham, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.

Aside from a brief absence due to a bruised foot, Jimenez has only enhanced his standing in the eyes of prospect hounds since getting shipped from the Cubs to the White Sox in a July 13 blockbuster deal. The 20-year-old slashed a scintillating .345/.410/.682 across 122 plate appearances with Winston-Salem, collecting 27 extra-base hits while maintaining respectable walk (9.8 percent) and strikeout (17.2 percent) rates. If Jimenez is able to demonstrate similar power production and plate discipline upon moving up a rung on the minor-league ladder, he'll have a legitimate case for opening the 2018 campaign as the top overall prospect in the sport.

Cespedes went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Yankees.

Sunday's off day didn't cool down Cespedes' bat, as he's now homered in three straight games and five times in his last 10 starts. Injuries have limited the 31-year-old to a disappointing 15 home runs in 70 games on the season, but he's more than capable of a big finish to 2017.

Collins was promoted from High-A Winston-Salem to Double-A Birmingham on Tuesday, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.

Collins was pulled early in Sunday's game with Winston-Salem due to a bruised forearm, but returned to the lineup with a bang Monday in what proved to be his final contest in the Carolina League, going 2-for-4 with a double, triple and a walk. Though Collins has underwhelmed on the whole this season with a .223/.365/.443 line across 426 plate appearances, he found his swing in August, slashing .343/.500/.686 through his first 11 contests of the month to earn the promotion. It's likely that Collins will open the 2018 campaign with Birmingham even if he maintains his hot hitting over the final few weeks of the current season, as the White Sox are in no rush to push the 22-year-old through the system while he still could benefit from some further refinement behind the plate.

Cabrera indicated that his back tightened up Monday morning, resulting in his absence from the lineup later in the evening in the Tigers' 6-2 loss to the Rangers, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said he initially expected Cabrera to play in the series opener with Texas, but the first baseman ended up sitting out his second consecutive contest after experiencing pain on the right side of his back. It's worth noting that Cabrera has battled chronic pain on the left side of his back through much of the season, suggesting that the current injury he's dealing with may be unrelated. The Tigers will reevaluate Cabrera on Tuesday to see if he's ready to return to the starting nine, but at this time, Ausmus said the team isn't considering placing the former MVP on the disabled list.

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Monday's win over San Francisco.

This was just the fourth home run in the second half for Ozuna, so it was a welcomed blast for fantasy gamers and the Marlins. Even with a little dip in his power output, he sports an impressive .303/.363/.545 slash line with 27 homers, 89 RBI and 66 runs for the campaign. Ozuna remains a high-end asset in all settings, and an uptick in production down the fantasy stretch isn't out of the question.
