  • Yandy Diaz DH | TB

Rays' Yandy Diaz: Cracks first homer of 2025

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Diaz took the second pitch he faced from Reid Detmers deep to right field for a 327-foot solo homer, his first of the 2025 campaign. Diaz has gotten off to a slow start, but he's reached base in six of his last seven outings and has gone 6-for-28 with two walks, three runs scored and a solo homer over that span.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Smacks two doubles Wednesday

Devers went 2-for-4 with two doubles in Wednesday's 2-1 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays.

Wednesday was the second time Devers recorded two doubles in a game, and it was his fourth multi-hit game of the season. Since starting the season 0-for-19 with 15 strikeouts, Devers has bounced back and has gone 13-for-30 with five walks, eight runs scored, one home run and eight RBI.

  • Seiya Suzuki DH | CHC

Cubs' Seiya Suzuki: Triples in loss

Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Rangers.

Suzuki collected half of Chicago's four hits as he continued a streak of strong performances. The outfielder now has three straight multi-hit games, and he's gone 7-for-11 overall during the hot stretch. For the season, Suzuki is now batting an even .300 to go along with a stellar .970 OPS, giving him plenty of fantasy appeal.

  • Nick Maton DH | CHW

White Sox's Nick Maton: Sitting against southpaw

Maton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

With southpaw Logan Allen toeing the rubber for Cleveland, the left-handed-hitting Maton will retreat to the bench. Austin Slater will fill the designated-hitter spot in Maton's stead.

  • Joc Pederson DH | TEX

Rangers' Joc Pederson: Idle against southpaw

Pederson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Pederson will take a seat for the second time in the series while the Cubs send another lefty (Shota Imanaga) to the mound. With Pederson on the bench, Jonah Heim will get a day off from catching duties and will serve as the Rangers' designated hitter.

  • Jesse Winker DH | NYM

Mets' Jesse Winker: Sitting again versus righty

Winker is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Marlins.

This marks Winker's second straight absence from lineup against a right-handed pitcher. Starling Marte reached base three times and drove in two runs Tuesday and will be rewarded with another start at designated hitter in Wednesday's series finale.

  • Bryan Reynolds RF | PIT

Pirates' Bryan Reynolds: Goes deep Tuesday

Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

Reynolds got the Cardinals on the board with a solo home run in the fourth. The 30-year-old now has four extra-base hits and four RBI over his last four games, though he's striking out at a 31.4 percent clip early on in the season, which is much higher than his career average.

  • Brewers' Christian Yelich: Belts solo homer in win

Yelich went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-1 win over Colorado.

Yelich went back-to-back with William Contreras for a solo blast in the seventh inning, giving the Brewers a 6-1 lead. It's still been a sluggish start at the dish by Yelich, who's slashing .139/.279/.306 with two long balls and six RBI through 43 plate appearances, but the star left fielder does have two stolen bases already this year.

  • Kyle Schwarber DH | PHI

Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Cranks fifth homer

Schwarber went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and drove in two additional runs in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to Atlanta.

Schwarber was able to log a rare triple Tuesday -- his first since 2023 and 13th of his major-league career -- which drove in two runs in the third, and on his next at-bat he took Chris Sale deep for a 462-foot moonshot to center field. Schwarber has started the season slashing .324/.444/.811 with six walks, five home runs and 11 RBI across 45 plate appearances.

  • Gavin Sheets LF | SD

Padres' Gavin Sheets: Idle versus lefty

Sheets is not in the Padres' lineup against the Athletics on Tuesday.

Sheets will begin the game on the bench with the Athletics sending southpaw Jeffrey Springs to the mound. Yuli Gurriel will start at first base, and Luis Arraez will bat as the designated hitter Tuesday.
