McCutchen snapped an 0-for-15 slide with an RBI single Sunday in Cincinnati.

His lone hit of the game came after home plate umpire Jeff Kellogg refused to give McCutchen timeout while he was batting. The center fielder will look to snap out of his funk at Wrigley Field on Monday, where he holds a career slash line of .317/.424/.481 in 290 plate appearances.

Miller went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk and two strikeouts during Sunday's 3-2 win in St. Louis.

Miller played like a "three true outcomes" hitter here, as the only ball he put in play went into the seats. Unfortunately for the middle infielder, he's traded in much of his power from last year for patience. While Miller's walk rate has jumped from 7.8 percent to 17.3 percent, his home-run total has dropped from 30 to six.

Carpenter went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Rays.

The leadoff man's 17th long ball of the season tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning but was ultimately overshadowed by Logan Morrison's 10th-inning game-winner. Carpenter has now driven in 13 runs in his past 18 games after accruing only 48 RBI in his first 103 this season.

Buxton went 4-for-5 with three home runs, five RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

Buxton will be reluctant to see the calendar turn to September, as the dynamic 23-year-old has been hitting at a torrid pace during the month of August. Following his first career multi-homer game, he is now slashing .304/.340/.543 with five home runs, 16 RBI and seven stolen bases this month. It appears that Buxton may finally be materializing into the well-rounded star that many baseball pundits believed he'd eventually become. There have been some growing pains with the speedy center fielder, but he should be deployed with confidence in all fantasy formats moving forward.

Cespedes (hamstring) will head to New York and undergo further examination Monday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.

After suffering a right hamstring strain for a second time this season Friday and landing on the disabled list, Cespedes looks to be at risk of being shut down, but the Mets will see how he looks during the checkup before announcing a timetable for the outfielder. Travis Taijeron was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday to give the team an extra body in the outfield, and he and Matt Reynolds are expected to see most of the reps in left field while Cespedes is sidelined.

Stanton went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run and three RBI in Sunday's victory over the Padres.

Stanton entered Sunday's game with an outrageous .374/.462/.956 line for the month of August. He proceeded to continue his dominance as he mashed his 50th home run of the season and brought his RBI total up to 108. Stanton hasn't shown any signs of slowing down and will look to keep putting on a show when the Marlins face the Nationals and Phillies in the coming week.

Martinez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.

The 30-year-old continues to absolutely mash left-handed pitching -- Saturday's homer off Madison Bumgarner was his ninth in just 62 at-bats against lefties this season. He will face southpaws in the first two games of next week's series against the Dodgers (Rich Hill and Hyun-Jin Ryu).

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk Saturday against the Padres.

Ozuna blasted his 31st homer of the season to tie the game at one in the fourth inning of a contest the Marlins would win in extra innings. He's homered in four of his last six games, and he's been a fantasy superstar this year with a .311/.376/.560 slash line.

Blackmon went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Braves.

Blackmon crushed his 31st homer to break open a tie game in the ninth inning, leading the Rockies to a road victory. He's been an absolute superstar this year with a .335/.397/.621 slash line along with 12 steals.

Cabrera went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk Saturday against the White Sox.

Cabrera launched his 14th bomb of the season to give the Tigers a third-inning lead they'd never relinquish. This was the first time he's hit safely in five games, and unless it's apparent that he's going on an extended hot streak, his .411 slugging percentage hasn't done much to help fantasy owners.
