Martinez went 4-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Sunday's victory over the Rays.

Martinez shook off Saturday's three-strikeout, 0-for-4 performance with a terrific outing Sunday. Martinez has been excellent so far this season and is slashing .330/.374/.567 after 25 games. He also has 22 RBI, a mark that figures to climb as he continues hitting in Boston's potent lineup.

Cespedes was diagnosed with a sore left thumb after leaving Sunday's game against the Padres, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The Mets didn't give any indication that Cespedes suffered a serious injury, so consider him day-to-day for now. However, due to his history with injuries, Cespedes could be withheld from the lineup for a day or two as a precautionary measure. X-rays on his thumb came back negative, but he'll undergo further testing in New York on Monday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports. If he has to miss time, expect Juan Lagares or Brandon Nimmo to start in left field.

Ohtani (ankle) may throw a bullpen session Monday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

If Ohtani ends up throwing a bullpen session Monday and is able to do so without any issues, the Angels could start him Wednesday against the Orioles. Fortunately, there is no concern that Ohtani will land on the disabled list at this point in time. However, in an effort to protect the 23-year-old's ankle, the Angels don't plan on using him at designated hitter until they're certain he's in full health. More information regarding his availability should be known soon.

Cespedes left Sunday's game against the Padres in the third inning with an apparent hand injury, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.

Cespedes seemed to hurt his hand while sliding into third base. Prior to exiting the game, he'd gone 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored. Additional information regarding the severity of his injury should be available in the near future. Upon his departure, Brandon Nimmo entered the game to play left field.

Cabrera received treatment for biceps spasms Sunday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Cabrera said that he was feeling much better after receiving treatment for the injury that forced him to leave Sunday's game against the Orioles early. Consider him day-to-day for now, although it looks like the 35-year-old will likely be able to avoid an extended absence.

Ohtani (ankle) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees.

The Angels will be cautious with Ohtani, who is dealing with a sprained ankle. Ohtani had been scheduled to take the mound for Tuesday's series opener against the Orioles, but he had his turn pushed to a later date so that he could have additional time for his ankle's condition to improve. Andrelton Simmons will serve as designated hitter and hit fifth Sunday with Ohtani out.

McCutchen is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.

McCutchen has had some tough times at the plate lately. Over the last seven games, he's gone 3-for-18 (.167) and struck out seven times. However, despite his struggles he's managed to get on base frequently, as he's drawn nine walks in that time. Austin Slater will start in right field and hit seventh with McCutchen out.

Cabrera departed from Sunday's game against the Orioles in the bottom of the fifth inning with a left biceps spasm.

Cabrera went hitless in two at-bats prior to exiting and was replaced at first base by Niko Goodrum. It wasn't immediately evident that Cabrera was hurting at any point earlier in the contest, so it will be difficult to discern the extent of his setback until team trainers have a chance to formally evaluate him. The Tigers are back on the schedule Monday, kicking off a three-game series with Tampa Bay during a seven-game slate this week.

Canha is out of the lineup Sunday against the Astros, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.

Canha has maintained a .953 OPS across 56 plate appearances since being promoted earlier this month, allowing him to emerge as the Athletics' primary center fielder while Boog Powell (knee) has been on the disabled list. It appears Canha's absence Sunday is merely for rest purposes, allowing manager Bob Melvin to get a look at Chad Pinder in center field.

The Angels are listing Nick Tropeano as their starter for Tuesday's series opener against the Orioles, suggesting that Ohtani (ankle) will have his turn pushed back or potentially skipped, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Tropeano will be followed by Andrew Heaney on Wednesday, with the Angels having yet to name a starter for the series finale Thursday. It's possible that Ohtani will be considered for that contest, but only if the left ankle he tweaked while running the bases Friday doesn't prove to be an issue. Considering the uncertainty regarding Ohtani's next start in addition to the fact that he's been tagged for seven runs over 7.1 innings in his last two outings, it may be prudent for fantasy owners to keep the 23-year-old on the bench in weekly leagues.
