Carpenter went 5-for-5 with two home runs, a double, three RBI and five runs scored in Tuesday's 11-2 win over the Indians.

Carpenter blasted solo home runs in his first and last at-bats of the game, adding in a double and a couple of singles in between. The monster night comes on the heels of a three-hit effort the day before, and he's been red hot throughout June. In 91 at-bats in the month, Carpenter is slashing .319/.404/.659 with eight homers, seven doubles, 15 RBI and 23 runs scored.

Buxton (toe) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, according to Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com, and remains on the disabled list for the time being.

Buxton had a shot to rejoin the Twins on Tuesday, but his rehab assignment will continue for the time being. He is eligible to be activated from the disabled list at any point, and will rejoin the big club when the Twins deem him ready. Just when that will be remains to be seen, as Minnesota likely wants him to get at-bats at the major-league level, but will not be forced to add him back to the roster until July 9.

The veteran infielder has proven that his surge in the second half of May was no mirage, as he's followed it up with a solid June. Factoring in Monday's production, Carpenter has racked up seven multi-hit efforts so far this month while also compiling 12 extra-base hits (six doubles, six home runs) and 12 RBI.

The Red Sox have asked about Canha, but were rebuffed by the Athletics, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The Red Sox are poking around for outfield help, given the struggles of Jackie Bradley (.189) this season, and identified Canha as a possible target. There's a chance the two sides could revisit things next month, but the A's are said to be looking for starting pitching, a scarce commodity in Boston's minor-league system.

Turner came off the bench to go 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Mets.

Turner was slated to get the day off Sunday, but he entered a tightly contested contest in the eighth inning. The substitution paid off big time, as the 33-year-old's 11th-inning homer proved to be the deciding run. Turner is slashing .241/.325/.380 over 31 games since returning from a broken wrist sustained in the preseason, but he has delivered four extra-base hits (two homers) in 11 games since receiving extra rest earlier this month, which is an improvement over the five extra-base hits (one homer) in the previous 20 contests.

Pederson started in center field and went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an extra-innings win over the Mets on Sunday.

It was Pederson's 10th long ball of the season, nine of which have come in just 11 June starts. The 26-year-old has proven to be a streaky hitter over the course of his young career, and he appears to be as locked in as ever right now. The dilemma for fantasy owners regarding Pederson is his sporadic playing time. Matt Kemp, Cody Bellinger and Yasiel Puig are the Dodgers' three primary outfielders, but Pederson's strong play could force manager Dave Roberts to come up with a creative way to get his bat in the lineup on a more-regular basis (i.e. moving Max Muncy to the keystone and Cody Bellinger back to first base). Until that happens, the slugging outfielder will be limited to three to four starts per week.

Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.

This was Jimenez's first homer since he was promoted to the Knights last week. He's gone 4-for-13 with three walks in four games since joining Charlotte. Before his promotion, Jimenez cracked 10 home runs over 53 games for Double-A Birmingham.

Harper went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two runs and an RBI to help the Nationals to an 8-6 win over the Phillies on Sunday.

Harper's recent struggles have been well documented, but he finally looked like his old self in this one, lacing three two-baggers and playing a part in three of Washington's eight runs for the game. The .219/.356/.479 slash line is still far off the pace we know he's capable of, but it seemingly has to be a matter of time before Harper gets back to his old tricks. Hopefully this three-hit effort was a sign that he's gearing up for a vintage hot streak that will start to pump those numbers back up toward their usual levels.

Stanton went 5-for-5 with a home run, two runs, two RBI and a walk in Sunday's game against the Rays.

This huge day at the plate upped his average from .249 to .262 on the season. Stanton has seven home runs but just 13 RBI in 81 at-bats this month.

Carpenter went 1-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored and two walks in a 8-2 win over the Brewers on Sunday.

Carpenter is up to 33 RBI and 39 runs scored with 13 long balls this season. He's slashing a pedestrian .237/.347/.467, but it's drastically improved since ending April with a .155/.305/.274 line. As long as he can get on base regularly, he should continue scoring runs near the top of the St. Louis lineup.
