Soler went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Monday's 14-6 win over Detroit.

Soler extended the Royals' lead to seven runs with his fifth-inning long ball, his second homer of the season. Unfortunately, his two home runs are his only two hits in 13 at-bats so far.

Brantley went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 8-5 win over the Mariners.

Oakland's No. 5 hitter is now batting .333 and has two hits in back-to-back games. He appears to be picking up right where he left off after a scorching second half of the 2019 season (.301/.415/.528 slash line).

Jimenez (head) is feeling better Monday and has not been diagnosed with a concussion, though he's still being monitored and won't start Monday's game against Cleveland, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Jimenez left Sunday's game with what the team called "light-headedness" after crashing into the outfield wall while attempting to make a catch. He was able to throw and hit off a tee Monday but will be on the bench for now, with Nicky Delmonico starting in his place in left field.

It's unclear whether Ramirez is experiencing symptoms, but he'll have to produce two negative tests before he's allowed to return to the team. Jon Berti should see an uptick in playing time in his absence.

After blasting a home run in the Mets' Opening Day contest, Cespedes went 1-for-7 with one walk and five strikeouts over the last two games. He'll get a day off Monday with Dominic Smith taking over as the designated hitter, batting eighth.

Vogelbach isn't in the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

Vogelbach wasn't in Sunday's lineup despite facing a righty, and he'll sit against another right-hander Monday. Jose Marmolejos will be the starting designated hitter again, batting sixth.

Winker is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Winker will sit for the second time in four days with the Cubs bringing a southpaw (Jon Lester) to the hill. Christian Colon will take over as the Reds' designated hitter in place of Winker, who went 1-for-8 with a walk in the team's season-opening series with the Tigers.
