Belt is not in the lineup Friday against Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The 32-year-old will take a seat with left-hander Robbie Ray pitching for the Diamondbacks in the series opener after going 1-for-3 with a run and two walks Thursday. Wilmer Flores starts at first base Friday, while Austin Slater serves as the designated hitter.

The Giants are facing their third straight left-handed starter with Robbie Ray on the mound for the Diamondbacks, and Dickerson has been on the bench for all three games. Hunter Pence receives the start in left field for San Francisco.

Solak went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and another run scored during Thursday's loss to San Diego.

Solak tied the game for the Rangers in the top of the ninth with a solo homer against Emilio Pagan. Unfortunately, Texas came up short in extra innings. On the season, Solak has two home runs and leads his teammates in batting average (.278), on-base percentage (.380) and hits (22).

Jimenez went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, two singles, walk and two runs scored in Thursday's 9-0 win over the Tigers.

The left fielder took Joe Jimenez deep to extend the Chicago lead to 9-0 in the eighth inning. Jimenez has been on a nice run since Aug. 10, tallying 11 hits, including four home runs, in his last 35 at-bats. The slugger now sits at .275/.302/.560 on the campaign.

McCutchen went 4-for-8 with a double, four RBI, and one run scored across both games of the Phillies' doubleheader against the Blue Jays on Thursday.

McCutchen delivered two knocks in each game, with the big blow coming on a bases loaded double in the first inning of the second contest. After a slow start to the season, McCutchen now has a five-game hitting streak, three of which have been multi-hit efforts. That has brought his line to .243/.289/.329 to go along with seven runs scored and 12 RBI across 76 plate appearances for the campaign.

Harper went 1-for-3 with a solo home run as the Phillies fell to the Blue Jays 3-2 in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader.

Harper opened the scoring with a solo homer off Chase Anderson in the first. The slugger has six homers and 16 RBI with a stellar .343/.470./.687 line on the season.

Dickerson is not in the lineup Thursday against the Angels, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Dickerson will stick on the bench for a second straight game with another left-hander in Jose Suarez starting for the Angels. In his absence, Darin Ruf will draw another start in left field.

Buxton was placed on the 10-day injured list with left shoulder inflammation Thursday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Buxton had struggled in recent action as he went just 1-for-21 with two RBI and six strikeouts over the past six contests. It's unclear how he suffered the injury, but he'll be sidelined at least 10 days as a result. Max Kepler and Jake Cave should handle the duties in center field while Buxton recovers.

Pederson is not starting Thursday against the Mariners.

Pederson will head to the bench for Thursday's series finale with left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for Seattle. A.J. Pollock is covering left field in his absence, with Matt Beaty serving as DH.

Martinez (illness) is starting Thursday's game against the Orioles.

Martinez left Tuesday's game due to dehydration and was kept out Wednesday, but he'll be back in action for the series opener in Baltimore. Martinez is slashing .244/.330/.419 with two home runs, 12 RBI and 24 strikeouts to begin the season.
