  • Alex Dickerson DH | ATL

Giants' Alex Dickerson: Sitting again vs. lefty

Dickerson isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Padres, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Dickerson will head to the bench for the second straight day with a lefty taking the mound for San Diego. Tyler Austin draws the start in left field and is batting third with Dickerson out of the mix.

  • Brandon Belt DH | TOR

Giants' Brandon Belt: Reaches three times in win

Belt went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-4 win over Arizona.

Belt has been operating as the club's leadoff man against righties this past week, and he moved down to second in the order against a southpaw Sunday. Part of the move to the top of the order was based on a lack of better on-base options, but it may have had something to do with the first baseman's mid-June power drought (.204 slugging percentage over last 15 games). Belt's power tends to come in bunches, so if he starts putting a charge into the ball again, then a move back to the middle of the order wouldn't be surprising.

  • Bryce Harper 1B | PHI

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Big day at dish

Harper went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, four RBI and an additional run in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Marlins.

Each of Harper's three hits -- his most since May 30 -- plated a run and allowed the Phillies to avoid a series sweep at the hands of the last-place Marlins. He capped his afternoon with the two-run blast in the eighth inning, leaving him one home run and one hit shy of 200 and 1,000, respectively, for his career.

  • Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Reaches 20 homers

Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Dodgers.

Blackmon plated a run in the fifth inning on an infield single, and he clubbed a solo homer to right center in the bottom of the ninth in a 10-5 loss. The 32-year-old has now hit safely in eight of his last 11 contests, slugging four homers while driving in nine runs over that span. He'll aim to stay hot at the dish with five games remaining before the All-Star break.

  • Joc Pederson DH | TEX

Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Knocks in three

Pederson went 3-for-5 with three RBI, a walk and a run scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Pederson drove home a run in the fifth inning on a single to left field, and he plated two more in the sixth on another single. The 27-year-old outfielder has pieced together a modest six-game hitting streak, registering two extra-base hits and four RBI during that stretch. He'll aim to keep it rolling heading into Tuesday's series opener with the Diamondbacks.

  • Alex Dickerson DH | ATL

Giants' Alex Dickerson: Benched versus lefty

Dickerson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Dickerson has emerged as the Giants' primary option in left field lately and is hitting .367 with seven extra-base hits, 12 RBI and six runs in his first nine games with the big club. While he'll be locked into a prominent spot in the lineup versus right-handers so long as he continues to wield a hot bat, Dickerson could find himself on the bench against southpaws as part of a platoon with Tyler Austin. The Giants are in line to oppose three lefties (Logan Allen, Matt Strahm and Eric Lauer) in their upcoming series in San Diego, so Dickerson's opportunities could be limited early in the week.

  • Matt Carpenter DH | STL

Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Battling stomach issue

Manager Mike Shildt said on KMOQ Sports Radio that Carpenter is out of the lineup Sunday due to a stomach issue.

Carpenter is sitting out his fourth straight contest, but it's unclear if he's been experiencing the stomach problems during that entire stretch. Yairo Munoz is manning the hot corner in Sunday's series finale.

  • Matt Carpenter DH | STL

Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Sitting fourth straight

Carpenter is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Carpenter is on the bench for the fourth straight contest despite no other indications that he's dealing with an injury. The veteran infielder is batting .208/.303/.364 with two home runs in June. Yairo Munoz is starting at third base Sunday for the Cardinals.

  • Justin Turner DH | CHC

Dodgers' Justin Turner: Out of Sunday's lineup

Turner is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Turner started the first three games of the series and heads to the bench after going 4-for-12 with a home run and five runs scored. Edwin Rios will start at the hot corner and bat sixth in his place.

  • Jesse Winker DH | NYM

Reds' Jesse Winker: Sitting versus left-hander

Winker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Winker will once again head to the bench against a left-hander with Jon Lester on the mound for the Cubs. Phillip Ervin will start in left field and bat sixth in his absence.
