  • Franmil Reyes DH | WAS

Padres' Franmil Reyes: Nursing stiff neck

Reyes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies due to neck stiffness, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Reyes will be held out of the lineup for the third straight game as his neck has apparently been bothering him for a few days. The 23-year-old made pinch-hit appearances in each of the last two games, so it appears the Padres are just expressing some caution. Wil Myers, Manuel Margot and Hunter Renfroe will start in the outfield from left to right Sunday.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Cardinals' Marcell Ozuna: Receives rare day off

Ozuna is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.

Ozuna started the last 56 games in left field for the Cardinals and will head to the bench Sunday for only the third time this season. Jose Martinez will take over in left field in the series finale.

  • Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Another four-hit barrage in win

Blackmon went 4-for-6 with a double, three runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's 14-8 win over the Padres.

The 32-year-old led a 19-hit attack by the Rockies, Blackmon's third straight game with four hits. He's now slashing an absurd .581/.581/1.258 with five homers, 11 runs and 12 RBI through six games on the Rockies' current homestand, but all good things must come to an end -- after one more tilt against the Padres on Sunday, Colorado hits the road for nine games beginning Tuesday.

  • Brandon Belt DH | TOR

Giants' Brandon Belt: Extends on-base streak to 18 games

Belt went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 8-7 win over the Brewers.

Belt was able to get on base twice, bringing his on-base streak up to 18 games. The 31-year-old is slashing .310/.474/.466 with two homers and 10 RBI over his impressive hot streak. Belt will have a favorable matchup against Chase Anderson (8.6 H/9 and 3.2 BB/9) in pursuit of No. 19 on Sunday.

  • Harold Ramirez DH | WAS

Marlins' Harold Ramirez: Posts three hits in win

Ramirez went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base in a 4-3 victory over the Pirates on Saturday.

The three-hit performance snapped a streak where Ramirez was hitless in 10 straight at-bats. He doesn't hit for much power or take a lot of walks, but he's helping owners in batting average. Ramirez is hitting .319 with one home run, 13 RBI, 16 runs and two steals in 113 at-bats this season.

  • Franmil Reyes DH | WAS

Padres' Franmil Reyes: Remains on bench

Reyes will sit for the second straight game Saturday against Colorado.

Reyes will sit in favor of Josh Naylor again. Naylor's .213/.213/.361 slash line can't compete with Reyes' .242/.292/.540, so it would be a surprise if that pattern continues unless Reyes is dealing with some sort of injury.

  • Jesse Winker DH | NYM

Reds' Jesse Winker: Sits again Saturday

Winker is on the bench for the second straight game Saturday against the Rangers.

Winker will sit against lefty Mike Minor. The newly recalled Phillip Ervin will take over in left field.

  • Matt Carpenter DH | STL

Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Makes impact out of top of order

Carpenter went 1-for-2 with a double, a run-scoring sacrifice fly, two walks and a stolen base in a win over the Mets on Friday.

Carpenter turned in a prototypical leadoff effort and recorded only his second extra-base hit of June in the process. The veteran is now well into a third month of subpar hitting to open the season, with his average sitting at a middling .222. Carpenter's .336 on-base percentage is certainly more respectable in comparison, but it still falls well below his career .374 figure in that category.

  • Bryce Harper DH | PHI

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Drills 12th homer

Harper went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in Friday's 9-8 loss to Atlanta.

The $330 million man has cooled down a bit after a weeklong hot streak, but he's still slashing .317/.348/.571 over his last 16 games with three homers and 14 RBI. Harper's overall numbers remain disappointing, but with 12 long balls and 48 RBI in 69 games, he's still on pace for his second consecutive 100-RBI campaign.

  • Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Stays hot with 15th homer

Blackmon went 4-for-7 with a solo home run, a double and three runs scored in Friday's 16-12 loss to the Padres.

Blackmon crushed a 434-foot home run off Kirby Yates in the 12th inning, but it wasn't enough to catch the Padres. It was the first long ball allowed by Yates all season. Since coming off the injured list, Blackmon has hit safely in six of his last seven games to improve his line to .323/.375/.638 with 15 home runs, 16 doubles, 45 runs scored and 42 RBI.
