Darin Ruf DH | MIL
Giants' Darin Ruf: Three hits against Nats
Ruf went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Saturdays' 9-3 win over the Nationals.
The veteran slugger has had a rough start to the season, but he's beginning to show some signs of life at the plate. Both of Ruf's multi-hit performances on the year have come in the last eight games, although he's gone a combined 2-for-23 in the other six contests. Until he starts supplying some power, however -- he has zero homers and only two doubles among his 14 total knocks -- Ruf will be tough to roster even as a DFS dart throw.

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Braves' Alex Dickerson: Remains in organization
Dickerson cleared waivers Saturday and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Dickerson was the outfielder to lose his roster spot when Ronald Acuna returned from the injured list, but he'll remain in Atlanta's organization and could still fill a role later in the year. His .121/.194/.212 season slash line is quite poor, but he's hit .255/.325/.460 for his career and could still be useful in at least a part-time role if he recaptures that form.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Giants' Joc Pederson: On bench as expected
Pederson (groin) will sit Saturday against the Nationals, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Pederson was diagnosed with a Grade 1 adductor strain Friday, and while he's avoided the injured list for now, he's expected to miss at least a few days. Luis Gonzalez will get another start in right field.

Mike Ford DH | MIN
Giants' Mike Ford: Sent to San Francisco
Ford was shipped from the Mariners to the Giants on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Ford was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Monday after spending six days on the big-league roster without getting into a game. He'll head straight to the Giants' active roster and will provide depth at first base while Brandon Belt is on the COVID-19 IL. Ford will have to hit better than his career .199/.301/.422 slash line if he's to stick around once Belt returns.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Brewers' Andrew McCutchen: Swats second homer
McCutchen went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 11-1 win over the Cubs.
He launched his second homer of the season -- and second in as many games -- in the third inning off Kyle Hendricks, one of six Milwaukee long balls on the night. McCutchen hasn't been able to really get hot yet for the Brewers, but he's consistently hitting cleanup against RHP and leadoff against LHP, and his mediocre .247/.302/.377 slash line has still led to three steals, seven runs and 10 RBI.
-
Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Ends homer drought
Turner went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 5-1 victory over Detroit on Friday.
Turner opened the scoring with a two-run shot off Detroit starter Tyler Alexander, his first long ball of the season. He's been a notoriously slow starter throughout his career and has lived up to that reputation with a meager .209/.257/.299 line through 18 games this month. Turner should turn things around as he's done in seasons past, and he still has manager Dave Roberts' trust -- Turner batted fourth Friday.
-
Seth Beer DH | PIT
Diamondbacks' Seth Beer: Slump lingers
Beer went 0-for-3 with a walk in Friday's 6-2 win over the Cardinals.
Beer is hitless over his last 18 at-bats. He had been the lone Diamondback hitting with any regularity early on, but he's fallen back to the pack and is second on the team among qualified batters with a .273 average.
-
Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Pirates' Daniel Vogelbach: Delivers timely hits
Vogelbach went 2-for-4 with two RBI on Friday against the Padres.
Vogelbach accounted for the majority of Pittsburgh's offense Friday, first driving in a run with an infield single in the opening frame. He followed that up with another RBI single four innings later. Vogelbach has swung a hot bat across his last 10 starts, collecting 12 hits in 37 at-bats while also accruing six RBI and scoring four runs.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Marlins' Jorge Soler: Hits tape-measure shot
Soler went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a strikeout and a walk Friday against the Mariners.
His long ball traveled 468 feet -- the third-longest homer hit by a player this season. Soler also got thrown out attempting a steal for the second time this year.
