Mark Canha LF | TEX
Athletics' Mark Canha: Two more RBI in Tuesday's win
Canha went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.
Canha's eighth-inning two-bagger gave the Athletics some valuable breathing room by extending their lead to 5-2. The 29-year-old outfielder's four hits over the last four games have been especially timely, as they've yielded five RBI overall. Factoring in Tuesday's production, Canha sports a career-high slugging percentage (.510) largely on the strength of 12 extra-base hits (six doubles, six home runs).

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Royals' Jorge Soler: In Wednesday's lineup
Soler (ribs) will DH and bat second against Tampa Bay on Wednesday, 610 Sports Radio - Kansas City reports.
Soler was forced to miss Tuesday's game due to a displaced rib that he suffered Monday, but he's apparently feeling good enough to go heading into the series finale. Fortunately, the Royals have a scheduled off day prior to Friday's game versus the Yankees, so Soler will get additional time to rest up following Wednesday's outing.

Kyle Lewis DH | ARI
Mariners' Kyle Lewis: Back in action at High-A
Lewis (knee) is 2-for-8 with a run scored in two games with High-A Modesto.
Lewis is back in action with the Nuts after missing the first month of the season while recovering from an offseason knee scope. While the 22-year-old prospect certainly carries an enticing set of physical tools when healthy, injuries have cut into his developmental time. Now that he's healthy, he'll look to restore his prospect stock by producing over the course of a full season.

Brad Miller DH | SD
Rays' Brad Miller: Reaches base three times
Miller went 1-for-2 with a double and a pair of walks in Tuesday's win over the Royals.
Miller has been hitting better of late with a .286 average (6-for-21) and three extra-base hits over the last six games. With that recent stretch, the 28-year-old is now slashing .235/.321/.418 with four homers and 13 RBI on the year.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Slated for another Sunday's start
Ohtani is tentatively scheduled to start in the series finale against the Rays on Sunday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
It would be the third straight Sunday start for Ohtani as the Angels continue with the six-man rotation, and have yet to start him on less than six days of rest. The 23-year-old is coming off a quality start against the Twins in which he allowed only three hits and racked up 11 strikeouts. Ohtani should see plenty of at-bats prior to Saturday's rest day. He is batting second for Tuesday's game against the Astros.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Royals' Jorge Soler: Out of lineup with rib issue
Soler is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rays due to a displaced rib, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
Soler suffered the injury while making a leaping catch during Monday's game. Fortunately, manager Ned Yost said the issue isn't anything serious. The 26-year-old will be available off the bench as a defensive replacement and could ultimately return to the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Dealing with back stiffness
Cabrera (hamstring) is experiencing back stiffness while going through his rehab work, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports
Manager Ron Gardenhire insists that the injury won't hold up Cabrera's rehabilitation, but some cautious pessimism is warranted when it comes to the 35-year-old slugger. A return next week is still possible, but Cabrera has been dealing with so many injuries this season -- biceps, hamstring and now back -- and has yet to resume baseball activities, so it's hard to trust any timetable at this point.

Mark Canha LF | TEX
Athletics' Mark Canha: Slugs sixth homer Sunday
Canha went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.
Canha launched an ultimately meaningless solo shot in the ninth off Chasen Shreve, his first round tripper since May 2. The blast extended the 29-year-old's hitting streak to three games, and he's now reached safely in six straight contests overall.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Red Sox's J.D. Martinez: Hits 10th homer of season
Martinez went 2-for-3 a two-run home run and three RBI to help the Red Sox to a 5-3 victory over the Blue Jays on Sunday.
Martinez kept right on rolling with another long ball -- his 10th of the year in 149 at-bats. The 30-year-old slugger has been absolutely dynamite since getting off to a relatively slow start, and he now has a ridiculous 1.018 OPS to kick off his first year with the Red Sox. The fact that his .624 slugging percentage is actually lower than the .690 mark he posted in his 119 games split between Detroit and Arizona last year speaks to how good Martinez has been over the last couple of years. It also suggests there shouldn't be cause for much worry about a substantial amount of regression from the absurd numbers he's currently posting.

Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Homers in four-hit day against A's
Stanton went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and three RBI in the Yankees' 6-2 victory over the Athletics on Sunday.
Stanton continues to work his way out of his much-discussed early-season slump with this four-hit, three-RBI effort, bringing his slugging percentage up to .516 and his OPS up to .855. He now has 10 home runs through 155 at-bats, so even if he doesn't end up matching last year's .281 average in his first season in pinstripes, there's little reason to believe Stanton won't be cranking his fair share of home runs as the season progresses.
