Choi is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Choi will sit for the second straight game since left-hander Tommy Milone is set to serve as the primary pitcher for Seattle. Travis d'Arnaud will start at first base while Jesus Aguilar will serve as the designated hitter.

Reyes is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Twins.

Tyler Naquin will bat ninth as the designated hitter against right-hander Jake Odorizzi. Reyes has started nine consecutive games since being acquired by Cleveland on July 30, going just 3-for-31 with a .161 slugging percentage and twelve strikeouts over that span. The 24-year-old is slashing .241/.293/.525 in 304 plate appearances against righties.

Ohtani threw a bullpen session at about 80 percent effort Saturday, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ohtani has been throwing off a mound since late June and continues to regain strength after undergoing Tommy John surgery. Manager Brad Ausmus was positive after the session, stating that Ohtani "looked easy and free."

Canha went 2-for-3 with two walks and a run in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Canha now sports a career-high .381 on-base percentage as he continues to draw walks at a career-best 13.9 percent clip. The veteran also sports his stingiest strikeout rate (20.6 percent) since his rookie campaign in 2015 and has equaled his personal high-water mark in home runs (17) as well.

Vogelbach went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Rays on Friday.

Vogelbach managed the only other extra-base hit for the Mariners besides Ryan Court's home run. The slugger had been mired in a 1-for-21 slump over his previous six games, with his sole hit during that span a home run. Friday's production might ultimately prove to be a launchpad for a resurgence at the plate, one that Vogelbach is badly in need of after hitting just .185 since July 2.

Ford went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Blue Jays on Friday.

Ford drew the start at designated hitter and responded with a 415-foot blast to center field in the seventh inning. Since rejoining the Yankees last week, Ford is 4-for-23 with a pair of home runs.

Martinez went 4-for-5 with two home runs, two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored Friday against the Angels.

Martinez doubled home a run in the first inning and then struck again in the fourth with a two-run homer. He closed out his night with a solo blast over the fence in right center, putting the Red Sox up 11-4. The 31-year-old has been red hot at the dish of late, turning in five straight multi-hit performances. He's registered three homers and six RBI over that stretch.

Cabrera went 1-for-2 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Royals.

Cabrera extended his team's lead to two in the fifth inning with an RBI single to left field. The two-time MVP sits with eight home runs and 46 RBI over 101 games this season for the Tigers.

Choi is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners.

Stanton (knee) resumed light baseball activities Wednesday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Stanton was able to throw and hit off a tee, which is encouraging progress for the veteran slugger, who has been sidelined for more than a month with a right knee injury. He's also been running on an anti-gravity treadmill, per Lindsey Adler of The Athletic. Despite the encouraging progress, Stanton remains without a clear return timeline.
