Martinez (groin) is expected to play Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Martinez has missed the last three games due to the injury. If he plays, it will likely be as the designated hitter; however, manager Alex Cora will try to juggle playing time for Martinez and fellow outfielder Mookie Betts, who has been dealing with a foot injury. Betts was the DH on Friday and will be evaluated for outfield duty over the final three games of the series.

Jimenez went 3-for-5 with a triple, a grand slam and a second run scored in Friday's 10-1 rout of the Tigers.

The White Sox were already up 5-1 when Jimenez took Jordan Zimmermann deep in the fourth inning with the bases loaded, putting the game away. The rookie slugger is ending 2019 on a high note -- he's got an 11-game hitting streak going, slashing .426/.471/.851 with five homers and 17 RBI over that stretch, and Jimenez needs just one more long ball for 30 on the year.

Canha went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Friday's 8-0 win over the Rangers.

Canha first plated Matt Chapman with the third-inning double, and then went yard off Rangers starter Mike Minor in the fifth. Canha is hitting .272/.396/.519 with 25 homers, 58 RBI and 76 runs scored as well as 15 doubles in 120 games this year.

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs in a 5-3 loss against the Orioles on Friday.

The 24-year-old continues to be a bright spot to yet another disappointing end to a Mariners season. He's displayed tremendous power in a small sample, hitting six homers in 40 at-bats. He is also hitting .325 with an .850 slugging percentage, nine extra-base hits, 12 RBI and 10 runs in 10 games.

Choi went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Red Sox.

Choi doubled home a run in the eighth inning, and the Rays would ultimately walk it off in the bottom of the 11th. The 28-year-old first baseman is slashing .260/.365/.441 with 16 homers and 58 RBI over 121 games this season.

Soler went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, a stolen base and two walks in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Twins.

Soler showed plate discipline, getting aboard with a walk in the third inning and promptly working a double steal with speedster Adalberto Mondesi. Both of Soler's runs came thanks to Alex Gordon's bat via a sixth-inning double and a groundout in the eighth. Soler is up to three steals this year, adding to his 45 homers, 110 RBI and 88 runs scored in 155 games.

Stanton is scheduled to play about six innings in the field Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Stanton is out of the lineup Friday, but manager Aaron Boone assured everyone that the slugger hadn't had another setback; Boone said Stanton made it through his first two games back in good shape. In those two games, Stanton logged a total of seven plate appearances, going 1-for-6 with a double, a walk and two strikeouts.

Martinez (groin) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

Friday was thought to be the earliest Martinez could possibly return from his bout of groin tightness. He will end up sitting for the series opener in Tampa Bay, as the Red Sox go with Andrew Benintendi, Jackie Bradley and Brock Holt in the outfield and Mookie Betts (foot) at DH.

Stanton is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

Stanton will sit after logging a total of seven plate appearances in his first two games back from the IL, having gone 1-for-6 with a double, a walk and two strikeouts. This is all part of the plan to ease Stanton in after he missed most of the season due to injury. In Stanton's absence, the Yankees will go with an outfield of Tyler Wade, Brett Gardner and Clint Frazier from left to right, with Aaron Judge at DH.

Reyes went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Thursday's victory over Detroit.

Reyes missed the previous two games to attend to an undisclosed personal matter but returned with a bang against Detroit, launching a 433-foot two-run bomb to left field in the fourth inning. The long ball was his eighth since joining Cleveland at the trade deadline but only his second since Aug. 27. Overall, Reyes is slashing .245/.308/.506 with 35 homers and 76 RBI in 141 games between the Padres and Indians this season.
