Murphy started the past three games and homered in each contest, but he'll receive a breather Sunday for the final game before the All-Star break. Travis d'Arnaud will take over behind the plate to catch for Bryce Elder.

The 30-year-old and Kyle Higashioka have alternated starts behind the plate for the Yankees' past six games, and that trend will continue Sunday after Trevino went 0-for-3 in Saturday's contest. Trevino has struggled offensive during the first half with a .211/.255/.316 slash line in 162 plate appearances.

Wong is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Wong started behind the dish in each of Boston's last six games, so he'll be getting a well-deserved breather while the Red Sox finish off their first-half schedule Sunday. Jorge Alfaro will catch for starting pitcher Tayler Scott in the series finale with Oakland.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

The second-year catcher will get a breather for the series finale, giving way to Manny Pina behind the dish. Unless he's used off the bench Sunday, Langeliers will finish Oakland's first-half slate with a .205/.267/.366 slash line to go with 10 home runs, 33 RBI, 30 runs and one stolen base across 293 plate appearances.

Heim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

With Heim having been voted as the American League's starting catcher in Tuesday's All-Star Game, he'll get a breather in the Rangers' final game before the break after he had been behind the plate in each of the past four contests. Mitch Garver will form a battery with starting pitcher Dane Dunning in the series finale in Washington.

Wynns went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Giants.

He took Ryan Walker deep in the second inning, giving the veteran catcher his first homer of 2023. Even playing his home games at altitude hasn't done much to improve Wynns' offense -- since joining the Rockies in early May, he's slashing .222/.265/.311 in 50 plate appearances, numbers right in line with his career .228/.273/.332 performance.

Murphy went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and two walks Saturday in a 6-1 win over the Rays.

Murphy produced half of Atlanta's runs on one swing when he slugged a three-run shot to left field in the fourth inning. It was the All-Star catcher's third straight game with a long ball, and he's gone 6-for-11 with seven RBI over that span. Murphy has hit 17 home runs through 67 contests, and he's already just one shy of his career-high mark of 18 set last season over 148 contests.
